We had the menu which was original and innovative. The wines were very good and added to our enjoyment of the evening.Service was prompt and very friendly and the food was well presented.A most enjoyable evening.

Herrlich gelegen mit tollen Produkten der Region. Wir waren zum Kaffeetrinken dort und haben leckere Waffeln verspeist. Auch ein Blick auf die Abendkarte verspricht einiges. Wir kommen wieder !

Kleines Restaurant, normale Einrichtung! Das Essen, okay, ich habe nur eine Pizza gegessen und die war geschmacklich nicht schlecht, nur für meinen Geschmack etwas zu viel Käse! Aber der eine mag es so, der Andere nicht!

We stayed for 5 nights .The staff were friendly , went out of their way to make our stay perfect .The love & care that they showed to us all attending to our needs .Breakfast served from 7.30 amA very nice spread .fresh bread rolls , gluten free on request when booking .Meals very reasonable the staff were happy to swop things around on the menu to suit or taste .Very attentive staff while eating our evening meal . Would highly recommend this family business.

Lennenstadt has a very limited selection of restaurants if you have no car. Since we were staying at the Hotel Cordial we had the convenience of their restaurant across a small street. We visited this restaurant twice, enjoying our first meal after having a reservation, but waiting 3 hours for our meals. The food was delicious and well prepared. We thought the large party in the private room may have interfered with good service. We tried the restaurant again tonight. We walked out after pitiful service and no food after 2+ hours. So disappointed as we like to support family businesses.

Really great food and value for money. Try the filetsteak with "rostkartoffeln", you will never eat them better. Also wonderful red wine and marvallous german beer. We go there once a month, because Gaby cooks as in earlier days.

Essen war gut wie immer, jetzt ist die Location auch noch sehr schön modernisiert worden. Service wie bei allen vorhergehenden Besuchen sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

I'm a keen road bicycle rider, and the place had such a great impact for a first visit that I think I'll be visiting here more often! Really friendly owner, totally polite and made to feel at home, the food was really really good, we ate a half Kilo Bockwurst and it was sourced from a really good butcher, with a really delicious homemade Currywurst sauce plus delicious schwarzes bröt. Topped off at the end with an espresso. It was the best you could ask for and a perfect place for a stop off at the top of a hill climb. I really recommend if you are a cyclist or motorbiker, it really is a dream route, and a great stop off! the scenery leading to and from this place is great. I recommend the area in general for cycling and particularly this restaurant, it's really made a memorable time! Sometimes owners of small restaurants could be a little unimpressed when a bunch of sweaty road cyclists appear, but this restaurant I must say gave me an instant comfortable and totally at home feeling, great! Thank you for your hospitality and once again, I hope to come back soon on another tour!I have to say again, if you are a cyclist planning a tour, or a motorbike rider, be sure to get this on your stop off!
