Een moet de eerste zijn. Ondanks dat we geen eerdere beoordelingen of menukaart konden vinden, dit gasthaus toch maar eens uitgeprobeerd en zeker geen tegenvaller.Een leuk gemoedelijk typisch Duits gasthaus met enkele heren aan de âstamtischâ. Het ligt net iets (100 meter) buiten het oude centrum van Nottuln.Hele vriendelijke en correcte bediening.Een goede kaart met voldoende verschillende gerechten. Mijn vrouw had asperges met een Wiener schnitzel en ik een holzfaller steak met uien. Beiden waren goed bereid en smaakten voortreffelijk. Voor een heerlijke typisch Duitse maaltijd is dit zeker een aanrader.

Das Ambiente wirkt wie ein gehobener ImbiÃ. Vorne ein Tresen zum Bestellen mit Angebotstafel über der Küchenzeile. Im hinteren Bereich ist es eher ein Restaurant. Die Speisenauswahl ist umfangreich und ein bischen unübersichtlich - hier zeigen sich häufig die Vorlieben von Stammgästen. Das Essen ist sehr reichlich, von guter Qualität und steht schon 7 Minuten nach der Bestellung auf dem Tisch. Die Stühle sind sehr unbequem. Vermutlich sind sie der räumlichen Enge geschuldet. Ansonsten Top.

Over the years my family and I have been to Klutes several times. I've had most of their beer and many of the dishes. I cannot recall a time I've ever been disappointed. We were there recently for dinner and to the cafe for cakes and coffee on a Sunday afternoon. The traditional German food is great and the beer is fresh and tasty.

We ate here on a Sunday afternoon with a family of locals whom we were visiting. The meal included soup, salad, and dessert. I had a traditional meal of thick beans, sausage, and pork. The meal was filling and tasted very good. The server was very efficient. There were several vegetarians in our group, who also were able to order a nice meal.

My family and I went there twice during my recent stay in Germany and we were not disappointed! The first time we all had a platter containing Germany's most wonderful delicacy, Westfalian ham, but I will critique our second meal first. It was hearty, well cooked, nicely presented and extremely tasty. The waiters are prompt (as prompt as they can be with a large and very full restaurant), friendly and the kitchen is a wonder to behold. Huge, shiny and clean! Now to the ham. I have had a lot of versions of Westfalian ham and I am an avid eater of the stuff, especially since I normally live in the USA and it is not available here, a considerable loss to the country. Gasthaus Stevertal's ham is beyond description and I do wish you could photograph taste. I can only say that it will bring tears of orgasmic joy to your tastebuds. It is just the right amount of dry, just the right thickness, just the right color and oh that taste. I can't wait for my next visit to Germany again. Westfalia is my favorite region and Gasthaus Stevertal is a must visit!!

Verwandte hatten uns mitgenommen, wir waren fast eine Stunde gefahren, aber es hat sich gelohnt. Ein kleiner Landgasthof mit rustikalem Flair, Küche und Toiletten auf dem neuesten Stand, wir hatten vorsichtshalber reserviert und waren sehr früh am Abend da.Unser Glück, wir hatten schon unser Essen, da wurde es brechend voll, an einem Freitag ! Erstkassige Küche, sehr schmackhaft und reichlich. Spezialität an diesem Abend "Pfannkuchen mit Pflaumen und Zucker und Zimt". Eine Riesenschüssel Salat für alle und eine leckerere Nachspeise rundeten das ganze ab. Empfehlenswert ****

Bei Feldkamp in Darfeld kann man sehr gut satt werden. Es wird die seit Generationen betriebene münsterländischen Gastlichkeit familiär bestens umgesetzt. Die Küche ist wirklich gut ohne den oft heute so "wichtigen" Schnickschnack. Ich freue mich immer, bei Feldkamp einkehren zu können.

Da fährt man seit Jahren täglich daran vorbei und war noch nie dort essen, was sehr schade ist. Nun haben wir es doch zum Geburtstag meiner Frau geändert und sind sehr positiv von allem überrascht. Die Einrichtung ist sehr gemütlich, wohnlich, es gibt viele sehr schöne Ecken in denen man gut und ruhig sitzen kann. Ein Saal ist wohl auch vorhanden, den wir aber nicht gesehen haben. Die Speiseauswahl ist übersichtlich und nicht überladen. Die Richtung ist natürlich deutsch, obwohl ich gut bürgerlich vermeide. Westfälische Spezialitäten wie Zwiebelfleisch, Wirsing- und Rindsrouladen, einige Steaks und Schweinefleischarten sowie Salata und (wohl gemerkt) frische Pasta (und nicht aus der Packung) machen es schwer, sich zu entscheiden. Die Beilagensalate, die Gott sei dank nicht aus dem Buffettrog kommen, waren genauso frisch, wie das Gemüse und die Champignons auf der Rahmsauce des Schnitzels. Als Fazit kann ich nur sagen, schade, dass wir nicht schon eher da waren, was aber nun nachgeholt wird. Neben dem ganzen Billerbecker Einheitsbrei, ist das hier mal was besonderes. Gut gelegen, einfach, auch am Sonntag mit dem Rad, gut zu erreichen.

We stayed at the hotel on our trip around the Southern 100 Schloss cycle route. The hotel is good, with secure parking for bicycles, but the restaurant was excellent. The Italian themed buffet dinner is very good quality and excellent value for money. Service was very friendly. We couldn't fault anything and all four of us rated it the best meal on our week long tour.

The food here might be categorized as halfway between haute cuisine and fast food--it is not complicated or creative, but carefully prepared and nicely presented. The deer meat was especially good, with a properly-aged gamey flavor and succulent texture. The bad news is that several of the items (especially the soups and potato cakes) were spoiled by too much salt. I spoke with the chef afterwards and he was very apologetic about this, saying he hadn't had the opportunity to check how things had been done that day and that they would take my comments into consideration for the future. (It's a rather large restaurant, employing several cooks and servers.) Cozy rustic decor with some seating booths.
