House A is a cultural heritage of Irkutsk. Nowadays it is space for creation, full of different interesting things and special spirit of Irkutsk. This house had been built by famous Irkutsk architect Alexandr Artushkov for his family in 1907. Today House A is one of the most unusual cultural areas in Irkutsk. Because of mix of old wood house and modern culture the space of the House is very eclectic and very harmonic. There are some workshops in the House - pottery, stained-glass, stone-cutting, jewelry. Workshop masters spend different classes for guests and can make exclusive things. Souvenir shop is also opened, you can buy there our souvenirs and things made by our partners: jewelry, things made of jade, charoit, stained-glasses objects, exclusive pottery, natural cosmetics, herbal tea etc. There are many cultural events: concerts, performances, parties, expositions are spent in the House A. In summer 2016 we opened the excursion special for our foreign guests. During the excursion we talk about Alexandr Artushkov and his projects, about features of Siberian modern and Irkutsk wood architecture, show the House, full of antiques, and also very impressive cellar and attic of the House.
