My wife and I where on our honeymoon in Reykjavik and I wanted a few things to surprise her on the trip. I saw a link on facebook to the shop and had a few emails back and forth before booking (several weeks before). Good communication throughout. When we arrived and realised how close it was to everything in Reykjavik it was even better. We where welcomed in and within minutes looking like a king and queen from ancient times. The lady in the shop was amazing and dressed us up perfectly o look the part. We looked like something straight out of a TV show and the studio really helps get you in the right frame of mind. Couple this with dramatic Viking music and you're really in the mood for some pillaging!! The photos where amazing and whilst we are both camera shy we had a lot of fun posing and carrying various weapons to add to our attire. The finished product was beyond my expectation and has added to our whole experience of Iceland. Thanks alot Mink (and Carla) - Keep up the good work.

I can not recommend this centre enough! The whole experience was brilliant!! The staff are really friendly, have a good sense of humour and are did a good job at putting us at ease! We walked in on a rainy day and were lucky to get a spot- so booking would have been best! This was safe and so much fun, we threw big and small axes and got to try some trick shots ???? it’s good value for money and great way to relax and have a laugh!!

Seltjarnarnes Swimming Pool

Reviewed By 552jimp - Hendersonville, United States

This is a rare find, But well worth going to. It is advertised as a swimming pool, and it is, but behind the swimming pool, right on the beach is a complex of hot tubs. There is a changing room, it is absolutely free to the public. You can sit in the huge thermal tubs and feel the ocean splash up against the side of the tubs! We actually sat there and watched the sun start to set. It is a little hard to find, but if you find the main building with the swimming pool, just go behind it and you will see these spa tubs. pretty amazing that it is right on the beach with the water splashing up on the sides! We went there specifically because it was on the beach, and it was free! Cannot fathom why anyone would pay $80 to go to the Blue lagoon when you have a place like this. You will not be disappointed!
