Top 10 Game & Entertainment Centers in Auckland, North Island

February 24, 2022 Nobuko Falco

The Māori call Auckland Tāmaki Makaurau — a maiden desired by 100 lovers, and a valuable territory fought over for centuries for its fertile land and natural harbors on the Pacific Ocean (to the east) and Tasman Sea (to the west). Today, it’s New Zealand’s largest city: A vibrant and diverse place where nature and urban life go hand-in- hand, with 48 volcanic cones, more than 50 islands, and 29,000 km of coastline and beaches just minutes away from the arts and shopping of the central city.

My brother and I was so excited to try this slingshot. It has the best view as you can see a lot of things around. The ride was OK, not that high and scary tho. To make it more fun, do not ask the staff to count! It definitely worth to try ????????

Having visited most virtual reality venues in both the north and the South island of New Zealand. Virtual reality studio is by a mile the most up to date awesome fun for all ages clean with the friendliest and most professional staff I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I could not rave about them enough and I would give 10 stars if I could. I arranged very last minute my 10 year old sons birthday party contacting them on their days off they returned all my calls ( anytime of day or night) immediately, were very flexible and met my every need a day out from my son's birthday. I didn't need to worry about a thing the price is amazing for the gaming time you get way better than anywhere else.i honestly would not bother ever going to any other virtual reality venue because in my experience they have all been substantially lacking compared to this one. They make it all about the kids and making sure their experience is an unforgettable one. I couldn't thank Harry, Holly and the team enough for having the patience to first of all deal with my demands and secondly 6 screaming yelling ten year old boys who had the time of their lives. You guys rule. Thank you.

Escape Masters MANUKAU

This internationally popular phenomenon promises a vivid experience where you can become the main character of a captivating mystery. An adventure, where teams are locked in a themed room with a common goal to break out within an hour. To escape, you will need to find clues and solve unique puzzles.

William takes great care of the visitors and the Escape rooms. We felt very welcome, a briefing was on point without revealing too much to spoil the game. We played the submarine and managed to get through with couple of hints. You can definitely see the effort being put into the props in the rooms to really make you immersed in the experience. Will be back for the other rooms.

Four of us enjoyed the large range of games on offer - first time experiencing VR in a game situation for most of us. Staff were very helpful in choosing games we could play together, changing games, sorting out our (very good) equipment. It was a bit pricey at $45 for an hour (55 minutes?) but a great treat for the family. I think they have better offers than we took up. Great to play as a family of four in multiplayer games. Really appreciated that they cleaned all the (sweaty) gear between sessions. Highly recommend for a family treat especially on a rainy day in Auckland. Looking forward to another session already
