Bradley's Garden -Garden Visit & Miniputt Golf

Reviewed By Dairyflatters - Mairangi Bay, New Zealand

We were a collection of friends in town to do the Lost Highway Rail Trail & stay in town for 3 nights. When asking locals what to do, Bradley's was recommended every time. We were treated exceptionally, ordered the Devonshire Tea the day before (as is the instruction), toured the lovely gardens, played Mini Putt to shrieks of laughter & had a fab time. Seriously recommended.

Thundercross Valley Dirt Bike Park

We offer a total dirt bike riding experience for riders of all ages and skill levels. Set in 750 acres of rolling countryside and breathtaking scenery, 1.25hrs from central Auckland and an hour from Hamilton. We are the only facility of this type in NZ: where you can ride tracks, hire a bike & get coaching. We have 25 bikes; something to suit all sizes and experience levels; from children's Peewee 50cc to 300cc for the experienced rider. Full protective gear is included in hire. No motorbike licence or experience necessary. Tuition available with experienced coaches. We will teach you to ride independently around our beautiful private Park. Whatever your thirst for fun on the tracks, we have it here: Learners', Novice/Intermediate, Advanced and Motocross tracks. The tracks were established in 1999 by owner, James Fowlie, so that his teenage children had somewhere to train. The Park has been popular with locals, domestic and international visitors ever since.

Bay Skate

Reviewed By DebsH200 - Wellington, New Zealand

Unlike most skate parks you find, Bay Skate does charge you to use it - I believe it was $8 for our son to go in. Would happily take him back again! Great areas for parents to watch their kids, a really large park and areas for different abilities too which is fantastic! Well maintained and cared for - there is no graffiti and I believe you can hire skateboards and scooters from their store too. Fully fenced which offers a great sense of security too. Our son absolutely loved his time there!

AC Baths

Reviewed By caitlinnz88 - Auckland, New Zealand

Fantastic value and just perfect for families. We had tried Debretts but we won't go back after discovering AC Baths :-) Value for money, size, facilities all just great! It will depend what you're looking for of course, but if you want a nice warm pool with loads of space for everyone, great shade areas, spaces for entertaining, great cafe and slides plus incredibly good set up in changing areas for families at a really reasonable price then this is the place for you :-) The family changing rooms were large and warm, and included toilets, shower, good sized dry shelf, large rubbish bin and change table and there were plenty of them too. When so many times the dash to get changed is full of stress and bother, grumpy kids who are wet and cold and need the toilet right when you've stripped the last of your togs off this facility was bliss! Staff very friendly too. Thanks AC Baths for a superb visit! We will be back for sure!
