Arriving at the same time as a bus daunted us, but service was fine. The menu is limited with 4 plats(mains) of steak, veal etc which we had. The flavour was good but the meat was a little tough. The wine list is small, deserts are delicious and large and the service is prompt and well mannered.

Really nice selection of beers (and yes... for Guinness !!)Good choice of food, and really tasty !Staff are friendly and service is very good...and they speak good English (and try hard to speak it better)Would recommend it for anyone staying in Carquefou !

Stumbled across this place with the whole family ... what an absolute hidden gem!Thought it was going to be a little stuffy from the outside, but the service was fantastic, we were made to feel incredibly welcome, even our 9yr old son!! A must try âtraditionalâ French restaurant, with private parking ... excellent value for money.When near Nantes ... a must try !!

Located in the northern limits of the city center, this restaurant is accomodated in a former private typical townhouse of Nantes.If you're looking for a dinner better than average, if you have a car, and not willing to drive into the city center that becomes almost inaccessible for cars, then L'Abelia is a nice option. A car park has been organized in the garden, but surprisingly it is almost always full, probably used by the staff of the restaurant.Now, the food menu features the local specialities including fish with "beurre blanc" gravy, duck, but also foie gras from south west France... The atmosphere is formal, but not too much so that you feel easily comfortable.

Un diner entre amis, suite aux recommandations d'une proche. Nous avons été reçus chaleureusement et avec un franc sourire dans ce restaurant situé sur le bord de la route mais très calme, pour autant.La déco est soignée, propre, de l'attention est portée aux détails.Dans l'assiette, le chef fait preuve d'un travail soigné et technique, d'un classicisme élaboré. C'est joli et c'est bon. Belle carte des vins mettant en avant la production locale.Un potentiel certain pour aller plus haut ! Nous reviendrons.

I came to Nantes for the weekend for the 4th or 5th time and came to Le Bistro des Enfants. It's absolutely the best restaurant in the area by far. The service is friendly, personalized and attentive. The prices are very reasonable.The food is to die for. Menu changes all the time but amazing every time. A must is the Tarte fine aux pommes, it's made on the spot and when I say wow it's wowser! Love this place

They do excellent food (speciality is steaks); the wine was good and the staff did try to speak a little English which, with our little French, sufficed.

Had dinner here twice based on the slim selection in the area. Both times were really great. They have a good varied selection of dishes, as well as some dailies that offer a good alternative. Food was cooked to perfection. Service was pleasant and friendly, very helpful to the stranges with a limited knowledge of the French language. A good place that I would definetly recommend if you are in this area.

A group of 6 of us called into this restaurant after a funeral at the crem. They do a buffet lunch and have a good varied menu. Everybody was pleased with their choice and the price was very reasonable. The waitress was friendly and patient and the service was quick. It being a mild day, we sat outside, but the view onto a carpark isnât ideal!
