Bistro Puur is the best place around in Oldenzaal for dinner. The place is nicely decorated with a modern feel, the service and attention of the personeel is excellent. The quality of the food is really good and price/quality is acceptable. As starters we had carpaccio and mushroom croquets, the last ones were soft and tasty and left you wishing for more. As mains we had lambs shoulder and code. The meat was as tender as it can be, just falling off the bone. The sauces with the mains were refined and not overpowering. The chocolate cake as dessert was the perfect sweet end to an outstanding dinner.

Perfect for a nice dinner with your loved one or a business dinner, Wilmersberg always provides as per advertised.Wine list is consequent and adapted, dishes are somewhat on the traditional side but very well executed.Would advice a little walk around the premises, then a drink on the terrasse before eating.. The place in itself is indeed charming.

In de afgelopen periode hebben we in Twente op verschillende plekjes lekker gegeten. Ook bij dit restaurant is onze verwachting uitgekomen.Het restaurant is sfeervol ingericht, de keuken is Frans georiënteerd, en dat is te merken. Je hebt de keuze uit een 2,3 of 4 gangen menu voor schappelijke prijzen. Het restaurant ligt een beetje afgelegen, maar is zeker de moeite waard om naar toe te rijden. Wij komen er in elk geval graag terug!

So schnell ist ein Jahr vergangen. Wieder traf sich die gesamte Famlie in Ootmarsum. Wieder waren wir 16 Personen, eine Herausforderung für jedes Restaurant, wo alle gleichzeitig das Restaurant betreten.Heute war eine geschlossene Gesellschaft im Hotel. Es gab wenige Tische im übrigem Teil. Das Restaurant wird wie bei so vielen in der Regel nicht freigegeben.Ein groÃer Tisch war frei, er stand in der MItte unmittelbar zur Eingangstür. Sehr schnell wurde ein weiterer Tisch herangeschoben, so dass alle Paltz finden konnten. Zwar nahe zur Eingangstür, aber der kalte Windzug bei Ãffnen der Türe war auszuhalten.Somit super Leistung des Restaurants. Improvisiert, und alle waren zufrieden.Service super. Sehr schnell und gut.Viele bestellten für den Lunch einen Pfannkuchen. Alle Pfannkuchen kamen sehr heiss aus der Küche. Keiner musste lange warten, super.Kritikpunkt: die herzhaften Pfannkuchen. Auch die wurden mit dem suessen Teig inkl Zimt zubereitet. Das kannten wir nicht, im letztem Jahr wurden diese auch anders zubereitet und schmeckten hervorragend. Ich weiss nicht, warum. Vieleicht gab es nur einen Teig an diesem Tag. Na, wir haben aufgegessen, geschmeckt haben sie nicht. Insgesamt waren wir zufrieden. Sollte es uns im nächsten Jahr erneut nach Ootmarsum verschlagen, geben wir dem Restaurant eine zweite Chance.

We had dinner here after recommendation. The atmosphere was alright (probably more local than italian), staff was very helpful. Some dishes were very nice, others were just a but too " normal" for an italian. Worth the dinner but don't expect high class food. Price/quality was excellent..

De Gouden Kruimel is situated in delightful Kerkplein. We sat outside in the sunshine and, from all the tasty treats on offer, had coffee with a wonderful apple tart. The coffee was served with a glass of water on the side and two complementary homemade Bonbons, and everything was delicious.Although our choice was called apple tart, it looked more like a cross between a pie and a cake; but whatever you choose to call it - it was delicious. By the way - we only had one piece of tart between us, and it was plenty.Service was also very nice.Highly recommended.

We attended a 3 day yoga retreat here and it was perfect. The hotel is on the beautiful estate. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. I loved the 200m pool and the sauna. The restaurant is also inviting and perfect for all meals, I enjoyed their lunches the most, especially the goat cheese salad. You can take long walks around the estate or go into the small town. It's perfect for couples, friend's weekend away or a family trip. Having a yoga retreat here was a great plus!Dear Nthabi,Thank you very much for your review on Tripadvisor! Our first night in the Netherlands, requested they make up bread and cheese to go without wine. A wonderful platter with warm crunchy sourdough bread, interesting cheese with walnuts embedded, chutney, radishes, sauces, herb butter, olives. Just what we were hoping for, I am from Wisconsin so love artisanal cheese. Then we spoke with our waitperson and told her we wished for asparagus. She suggested a Dutch approach. Came on a hot plate with olive oil boiled potatoes, hard boiled egg and slices of ham, a side of cabbage salad and wonderful pomme frites and we were set! It was exactly what we had wished for, 4 white spears of asparagus. All went well with the Cabernet from South Africa. So donât let the lack of English menu prevent you or cash only. Very good food, kind service, great atmosphere for conversation and very reasonable. We are here for 3 days will be hard not to go back.
