We have visited La Bastide for both lunches and dinners. The service is always good and the food consistently of a high standard. I donât think there is outside seating, but this is not a hardship, as the restaurant is cool and air conditioned for those hot summer days. A cool sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of Eymet market days. Lovely!

Des efforts à faire sur la cuisine, la salade de gésier était un peu trop salée, peut-être à cause du grande nombre de lardons; les frites étaient grasses et molles.le canard était parfait.Service et présentation des plats très bien.Très bon rapport qualité prix

Visited Walnut this week and I was most impressed by this bar and bistro in Eymet. First impressions last as they say and the professionalism and warmth of the greeting by Julian and his team was unmatched during my French holiday. The food (I had bavette steak cooked to perfection) and wine on the night was lovely and the service throughout the evening was attentive and made you feel special. If you come to Eymet make sure you pop in to Walnut for dinner. I also hear their brunch is pretty special as well! It's definitely on my foodie list for my next visit. Hi ChrisJackis,Thank you for your great review! I am so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your experience with us. The whole team is dedicated to you and making sure that you have a good time with us at Walnut. I enjoy the Bavette too, in fact its my favourite steak on the menu! We look forward to seeing you again. All the best,The Walnut Team

We all know that a Les Routier or a roadside Auberge in France offers good food for a reasonable price. Having visited a vineyard we were en route to Agen and needed some lunch. Bastides looked inviting so we stopped. What a treat! Just superb. Lovely vegetable soup, great fresh salad bar, succulent escalope, super crème brûlée, cheese and coffee. â¬12 pp! Served wit a smile and some very good vin rouge.

The pizza's in this restaurant really take some beating, the quality & thin crispy base, not over loaded with tomato base is the best, we send so many people there for a pizza & they all come back saying it's the best they have ever eaten

Super calm, relaxed location overlooking the pretty lake, friendly staff, great tasting, innovative food presented beautifully - very well worth driving a tiny bit out of Miramont-de-Guyenne to enjoy a delicious lunch away from the maddening crowds! If you are a walker, there is a walk of about 8 k marked trail you can do from the restaurant, either before or after lunch. Quite delightful and I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant. Very reasonable prices - deserves all the praise it gets. Be warned ... only open Wednesday through Sunday. You can also go to this restaurant for a drink and I am sure a coffee to enjoy sitting beside the lake.

We decided to have lunch at this local bistro. It has expanded considerably in the last few weeks by taking over the building next door. Despite that good move it was still almost full.We had the magret de canard of their menu. It was good and excellent value
