A group of 8 of us recently visited the Gin House and were warmly welcomed by Henry. He was great throughout the whole week looking after us and made sure our stay was enjoyed. He was attentive, efficient and pleasant. Henry is the best ever and earns our 5 stars.

Magnificent mountain view, big spectacular lake surrounded by mountains and ski resorts. Zell am see, shuttdorf have nice places to stay with view to the lake. During summer boat trips are possible.

Go brave the steps, (there's also a very steep path to access on the other side) take in the views and look at how the locals take care of their dead Beautiful inside.....light a candle or two for loved ones.

Had the pleasure of attending Mass recently in this beautiful church and was very impressed by the wonderful choir! The priest was very welcoming to non-German speakers addressing us in very good English at the end of Mass!

In the centre of Zell am See directly at the lake there is a light show 3 times a week in the evening during the months May until October. Between 1 and 5 PM you can see a short introduction about what awaits you during the shows. They have different themes every day: Tuesday it is "Happiness", Thursday "One Hit Wonders" and Sunday "Majestic Waters". Water, lights and videos offer some beautiful entertainment. Entrance is free. A show to enjoy with the whole family.
