Loved this little shop in Tarrytown. Everything is handmade (well almost) and made in different parts of the world. The owner of the shop is a very nice and helpful lady, highly recommend stopping by if you are visiting Tarrytown or of you live there.

I was meditating and focusing on my heart chakra during my come-up as I meditated by the pond and the trails started to kick in as I meditated and the clouds were coming off of it it was like a Monay painting. I got up and started strolling through the sculpture garden. Let me tell you, the visuals that go with this is priceless. I wish I had the words for it or a way to draw it for you or maybe take a picture of it in my mind - like a tripping camera how aweseome would that be! Anyway The ladies were dancing around and around and around me and I felt connected to the universe, I felt that each of them was an element and all of them working in unison made the world go round. Then I got a little bit sick and had to boot. I recovered though, got up, and jogged around the park. I found a nice bench to sit down and meditate once I found myself regaining control and focus. I definitely found that this place helped me realign my energies. I recommend it.

This is a hidden gem the waterfall is beautiful once you go over the bridge there's a beautiful waterfall right there is a perfect area to have a picnic they have a barbecue grill right there they have a nice walking trail they have a river trail and the trail that would take you over a nice bridge in a walking trail is like you walking in the forest. It's something you must see before the end of the summer I will definitely go again

~Our family and friends, a group of (25), recently had the privilege of embarking on a Private Two-Hour Walking Tour of the beautiful “Sleepy Hollow Cemetery” located in the legendary town of Sleepy Hollow, N.Y. ~Combining the best attributes of both the Daylight Walking Tour & Evening Lantern Tour, our tour guide, Christina, guided us through an intricate maze of paths, upon which we admired the stunning architecture of mausoleums and vaults, the magnificent statuary, and artisanal tombstones. Christina was extremely informative, captivating, enthusiastic and humorous. ~We witnessed a beautiful sunset, walked alongside deer and wildlife, and glimpsed the majestic beauty and serenity of this extraordinary place. Christina was truly exceptional in every respect. ~The customized tour was specifically tailored to reflect the interests of our guest of honor and highlighted many notable figures laid to rest in this peaceful place. Among those visited were Washington Irving, author of the infamous “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” and William Rockefeller. A noteworthy attraction, replete with huge vintage brass key to gain entry, was the viewing of “the Receiving Vault”, especially noteworthy to Dark Shadows fans. ~The Tour was simply exceptional!

Stopped here as we were returning home from a trip to Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow. Multiple trails to jog/hike/ walk for couples, families, and dog walkers. If you have a horse, you are also welcome to horseback ride here, as well as travel by a horse drawn carriage. We took the trail that goes around the lake and found it be beautiful Even for mid Fall there was wildlife to be seen such as chipmunks, turtles, Canada geese, and Mallard Ducks, as well as other small birds. Great place to spend time in Nature during all seasons of the year. A Nature Center is there with naturalists to answer questions. If you enter through the main entrance, there is a $6 fee to be paid at a kiosk. The lot was crowded, but there is an overflow lot and I understand you can park elsewhere at other points of entrance along the road and avoid the fee, but we feel our $6 fee was well worth it to help preserve the park. We would want to visit again and try one of the other trails should we pass through the area again.

Hi. Untermeyer park has been in North Yonkers ever since I was a kid and long before then, too! And the time era i am talking about is the 1990s when I already a growing little kid. Ok, this post is NOT about me. It’s about Untermeyer park, located off of North Broadway avenue, and is adjacent or beside St. John’s Riverside Hospital in Yonkers, NY. Lovely views of the Hudson River and the Palisades can be seen after you continue to walk past the first built garden near the Charles Community Center at entrance of Untermeyer Park. In Summertime, years back, there were concerts and dance performances in the Untermeyer fields and it was awesome, fun and was a great way to grow up—an invest in the diverse city of Yonkers, NY—complete with a Ukrainian festival further on north Broadway.
