My husband and I enjoyed lunch in the cafe and it was yummy. Also purchased a couple Valentine cookies, they were fresh and delicious. We toured through the attached museum and enjoyed it all. Who knew that there was a baking powder war? Not this gal.....lol. The museum is free. Its worth a stop if you are near Terre Haute. You can walk across the parking lot and get a picture of the Larry Bird statue when you go to leave.

We recently moved to Terre Haute, IN from central Illinois. I love the nastalgic step back in time to see reconstructed log cabins and a reconstructed town with a school, church, blacksmith shop, fur trading shop and a 1 unit get away cottage. All of this on a beautiful lake with a water fed mill attached. I love photography and this was a fun place to go with my camera.

A great little hidden gem of a museum. Not very big, and if you aren't studying the art work, then you'll only need about an hour. Staff linger, but don't be put off by it. Some items including A. Warhol is priceless, so accept it and move on. Plenty to see for a nice artful afternoon! Worth a stop!

Glendy's Uptown Mall

Many customers tell us often that Glendy's is the best antique mall they have ever visited. There is aisle after aisle of antiques, primitives, modern decor, furniture, jewelry, unique collectibles, mantiques, vintage clothing and so much more. Some of our regular customers travel from miles away to visit the store.

I love this store, I found several items to purchase, the staff was wonderful answering my questions and helping me locate the items. The store was clean, well organized and they had good prices. This is one of my favorite places to visit when I am back in town! They even offered to help me carry my items out to my car, it is so refreshing to have friendly, hometown service. Thank you!

I’d highly recommend the Velvet Cream Stout, which goes really well with their “beer nutz” - delicious. We also enjoyed the nacho appetizer with their pulled pork.
