This medieval fortress built by the Malatesta family dominates the beautiful town of Cesena. Starting from the adjacent Piazza del Popolo AND going along a short and pleasant climb through a beautiful park, you will meet the mighty Malatesta Fortress. The entrance to the fortress is free but a guided tour is recommended to understand the history and anecdotes that have happened there. , it is said that even Leonardo da Vinci passed through these parts. Fascinating and suggestive to walk the walkways of the Rocca, inside there is also a small refreshment and summer often events such as concerts and parties are organized.

It's always a pleasure to walk down this scenic little bit of old town Cesenatico. Pkenty of great bars and restaurants are on hand for you to sit and watch the wold go by as you eat or drink. The historic fishing boats are decked out with Christmas tableaux of the Nativity over the festive period. Wonderful after dark!

Beautiful example of a fourteenth-century fortress, well preserved, it is located right in the center of the small town of Romagna. Inside the fortress there are the offices of the Municipality and a theater. In the summer the fortress is open to various entertainment and cultural events, the peak is reached during the Artusiana festival, a beautiful and joyful culinary festival dedicated to pilgrim Artusi, a great expert in culinary traditions of the 18th century. Definitely a place to visit in Forlimpopoli
