Iles Sanguinaires

We drove to the point, with lots of parking available (if all full, it probably would have been way too busy!) Then walk around the point on natural paths (nothing too exiting) and have beautiful views of Corsican coast. As it was quite windy (although sunny), there were amazing waves crashing into the coast. View of the Îles was nice (and reachable by easier path), climb to the base of the tower steps, with further tremendous views.

That Square, formerly called Place du Diamant, symbolizes its status as an Imperial City, proud of its history and its illustrious child, Napoleon Bonaparte. In addition, the Square is facing the Mediterranean very well located as right place of life and for walks.
