Chamunda Devi Temple is the Chamba town on the bank of river Baner. Built in c.1762-63 it is easily accessible by the car. Great views of the Chamba town from here. Temple is a goddess temple of the Goddess Chamunda or Kali.

Tough but an inspiring journey similar to heaven as said , If wanna experience adventure thrill in your life just go there The holy belief of place is about relation with Indian God Shiva (Jai Bhole Nath ) You can view the Kailash Parvat from the the lake if loves thrill can go further to visit the journey around the parvat also.

This is the famous Chowgan of Chamba, a sprawling ground in the city centre. The important heritage buildings such as Chamba Court , police station all surrounds the Chowgan. The erstwhile palace of Chamba royal family also overlooks the ground. Its an important place in the life of Chamba people, as they meet each other during the evening , relax and enjoy soaking the cool breeze. The morning is the time when fitness freaks jog around the ground, and cricket enthusiasts shine their skills. A visit to chamba is incomplete if you do not visit Chowgan

Scenic place, surrounded by trees and 1.5 hours drive from Dalhousie. We visited in Nov 2020; weather was superb and kept shifting gears from sunny to cloudy to windy. Nice place to sit and do nothing; relax , play with your kids and enjoy in lap of mother nature . This place is big ( 10 cricket stadiums or more may be ) ; one can enjoy horse ride outside the ground ; there are stalls inside ground as well as outside ground. Its more like a park; which is situated in middle of hills surrounded by trees. It was clean and well maintained. One can spend 2- 3 hours or even more depending on what season you visit . If it is winters ; you will not feel like leaving the place if sun is out and shining !!!! Nature at its best .
