Top 10 Free Things to do in Adeje, Canary Islands

July 13, 2021 Moriah Teneyck

With the dramatic backdrop of 12,200-foot Mount Teide towering behind the resort, Adeje makes an unforgettable vacation destination. Adeje is less than two miles from the boisterous nightlife of Playa de las Americas, allowing visitors to choose whether to take it easy or to party. Bake in the sun on black volcanic sands before cooling down at a water park, such as popular Siam Park, or out windsurfing. Barranco del Infierno, Hell's Gorge, is a lush oasis, perfect for hiking.

This is the BEST Jewelry shop I have ever been in. The service is OUTSTANDING and the Jewelry is something you could never buy at home. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Rita the owner and her son with offered a welcomed cold drinks due to the weather being 33 outside . After purchasing a beautiful eternity ring which I love, Rita's son drove us back to our hotel. Will look forward to visiting this shop again

I have been to Mikimoto Pearl in Japan, this place has just as exquisite pearls and far more array of imaginative jewelry. THey may have been a little short staffed, but the woman who helped me was patient with me and managed to help folks around as well. I have a pearl necklace that was a silver tone and we were able to match the pearls for earrings. I love pearls and this fed my fix very nicely. GO!

Very beautiful beach. Quiet and peacefull very fresh air a get away from busy towns and tourist packet beaches with many beautiful souls who live there for periods of time to escape the bad weather in their countrys and connect with like minded people. If you like animals you will be happy to see that there is cats there that have been adopted by people living there. Over all a very nice place to relax and swim, the only thing is that its a hard climb first up many flights of stairs amd than climbing down steep rocks but the views and peace are totally worth it.

The drinks are always generous measures, a great selection of beers for hubby and fabulous music. A wonderful place for cocktails and nightcaps you really must pop along. This bar is also one of the cleanest you will find and ladies the most immaculate toilets await you!! Small but perfectly formed and absolutely spotless.

We had a lovely day strolling along the Playa Fanabe, we stopped off to have milkshakes at Gelateria Exotica after having a game of crazy golf which I lost to my husband!! :-( There are lots of shops, restaurants and places to look at the beautiful views. The beaches were sandy and the sea was calm in the little coves. The only thing that spoiled our time was the people who kept trying to sell us things which we weren't interested in.

Samoa Cocktail Bar

Reviewed By suep698 - Lichfield, United Kingdom

Party of 4 adults. We walked along the sea walk from Adeje to Playa de las Americas. It was around sunset and we notice the lovely Samoa bar. The friendly guy outside directed us to a really nice seat where we were able to look out at the amazing sunset and sea views. The food in this place is amazing! We ate here twice in the end. It is competitively priced, freshly cooked and plentiful. The pizzas are amazing. We didn’t order burgers but the ones served to other diners where huge! I had pasta on both occasions, gnocchi & ravioli, both amazing dishes. We loved this place. Strongly recommend it
