It was a perfect morning knowing Lazanou’s farm, in a personal conversation with Josef, the owner. He showed us the farm, the vineyards, how he cultivates with no chemicals. We ended the visit by tasting many of Lazanou’s prize-winning natural wines, learning from Josef himself the history behind the wines we were tasting and sharing our thoughts on each. It could not have been better!

Bosman Family Vineyards

We were recommended to visit Bosman Family Vineyards. They're just outside the small town of Wellington and have the most beautiful grounds. They have only a few tables outside and one long dining table inside, for wine tastings. We waited just a short while before being seated inside and then moved outside when a table cleared. Onida spent so much time with us, explaining the different wines, pairings, history of the farm and answering all our questions! So was so helpful and friendly. Charlene was just as friendly, always had a smile on her face, and walked around with me explaining the wine barrels and contents, daily tastings and testing, etc. It was just such a wonderful experience, the scenery is amazingly beautiful, the service is

We were recommended to go to Imbuko for the combination of wine tasting with accompanying pies - what a great idea - delicious despite quite a long wait while the pies were cooked.

Meeting Edmund and his wife on their lovely organic farm was an experience. The magical story we were told was just as inspiring as the products we tasted. Apart from feeling that my companions got more in their tasting glass than me, I was completely charmed! This farm is all about working with nature and producing the best possible product - no shortcuts are taken and the bottom line is not the most important. Every drop tasted smacks of dedication and passion. I will enjoy the case delivered to my doorstep thoroughly, and we'll be back.
