The Mercado de Bailen is a taste of the neighbourhood, of breakfast coffee on winter mornings, of the shopping trolley that vibrates nervously on the cobblestones of an old pavement, images of the Cautivo and the Trinidad at almost every stall, a murmur that smells of the village, the loving haggling that is close at hand, now converted into another everyday art form.
