Shared a macchiato coffee on the Outside terrace while it rained. Very nice atmosphere! Those around us were eating pizza which looked delist. Good place for meetings too

We ate outside under a covered patio with a group of U.S. Friends. The traditional Macedonian dinner consisted of shopska salad, kajmak salad, chicken, meatballs stuffed with kashkaval yellow cheese, baked beans in a tomato base, French fries covered with sirenye cheese (a local white cheese) and finished with a walnut & honey crepe. Everyone enjoyed the meal! Note: a little difficult to find but all the locals consider it one of the top restaurants in Tetovo.

Been with my whole family and enjoyed every bite of the food and service was great from the waiter. Highly recommend it and you will not be disappointed but you will surely be happy.

Very nice place, centrallylocated. We were looking where to have a lunch, but in Titovo center, could find only this one place, where it looked modern, original and clean. After getting in, we haven't regret. It was very pleasent service (waitress speaking English fluent). We could choose from local cuisines and seafood. The juice, we got was really the most tastefull I have ever tried. All the other cuisines too.But here, as well as in other places in Macedonia is a very unpleasent prederved rool - people are still able to smoke inside in the same building as they are eating. For me and my family (non smokers) it is unpleasent to eat and sit in the smoke of cigarets. I am smelling after such places bad, also I feel bad while sitting in them.

I have been in the restaurant in multiple occasions but I'm still not sure what is special about it. There are few things that are in the menu but they dont serve, since the restaurant is not supplied at that moment. Everytime that i ordered fish i got disappointed. There are few thinga that are really good such as peppers in sauce served in clay pots. The waiters are extremely polite, but do not react whenever someone smokes inside. You end up surrounded by smoke easily.

The restaurant is one of the best I have tried in the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. The atmosphere was very pleasant, with a spacious and very clean space. The service was professional, with waiters speaking good English. It was interesting that the menu was in Albanian (and English), but our waiter could speak only English and Macedonian.As starters, we had two kinds of fried mushrooms (champignons and porcini), both of which were excellent. The ajvar was nice and spicy - a real treat. But the best starter was a plate of fried courgettes. The taste reminded me of very well-prepared tempura - the vegetables were dipped in a very light batter before being fried. The main dish was a fairly typical Balkan roast, with a sauce that was pleasant, but did taste a bit of the ubiquitous Vegeta. The meat, however, was tender and very flavorful.All staff were very pleasant and professional. The price for the meal was not inexpensive but very reasonable for the quality offered. I have eaten in various restaurants in Tetovo and prior to visiting Bakal, I could not recommend any of them. The trip out to Brvenica is definitely worthwhile for a visit to this gem.
