Da wir wieder einmal Lust auf einen überragenden Schweinsbraten hatten, besuchten wir das Gasthaus Heimbau.Die Knödel sind gigantisch. Kartoffel und Semmelknödel. Diese haben das Volumen von kleinen FuÃbällen, sind aber trotzdem sehr flaumig.Der Schweinsbraten ist exzellent, die Ripperl leider nicht. Sind aber nur Beilage.Also wenn man mal richtig satt werden möchte, gönnt man sich diesen Schweinsbraten.Die Ausstattung des Gasthauses entspricht dem Namen.Die Gaststube ist gemütlich, der Speisesaal eben ein Saal.

We were here on a business dinner.I had beef and as a dessert I had some mousse au chocolat.The food was really good, we enjoyed it a lot. We will return, highly recommended.

The place was packed when we went there. Reservation recommended. Lovely Biergarden and fine local food. We had a Backhendl of good quality and portions for two. The Lemonsprudel was very refreshing..

We have been eating here for over 25 years. Great fresh food, good prices, fantastic outdoor patio and balcony for dining in warm weather. Family run. The best Southern Fried Chicken (Backhendl) I've ever eaten (I'm American from the Southwest USA). There's also a few 9 pin (kegeln) bowling lanes, always fun in winter. Guest House is outside of St. Florian center on road to Hofkirchen. Signs will point you to turn. Follow road a kilometer or so to the farm. Sometimes very busy...but worth the wait.

My comment is related to hotel.Unfortunately you canât leave negative score so I gave one star but in reality it doesnât deserve any good remark at all.I stayed or better to say I should have stayed in this hotel for one night on 10.08.2019. Communication before my arrival was good and I received booking confirmation via mail with instruction that because of my late arrival key from the hotel will be left in front of the hotel in order for me to be able to enter as they donât have reception working late evening. I was traveling 12 hours with two small kids (age 2 and 5) and came to the hotel realising these guys forgot to leave the key, WTF!!! I ended up sleeping in the car and if you have a family you will know how that feels. Eventually without much/any sleep I continued my journey for another 8 hours to my home risking driving under these circumstances but did not have better choice. Fortunately we managed to arrival safely but not thanks to these guys.Anyone smart enough, especially those traveling, should avoid this hotel unless you are willing to risk having no sleep at all.

Die Kanne ist immer noch ein wenig teurer, aber auch die Qualität stimmt und man kann gut Essen. Beim Zwiebelrostbraten waren die Zwiebeln etwas bitter. Es war allerdings das Haus rappelvoll. Alle anderen Speisen waren gut und auch schön serviert.

the place is nice, we were in a smaller area. Food quality was good overall, very friendly staff. The only negativity was the cigarette smoke in the common area, I hope Austria will finally join the the non-smoking restaurants, bars, hotels, etc. all around the world.

Dies Konditorei ist jederzeit eine oder mehrere Sünden wert. Der köstliche Kaffee sowie die gediegene Auswahl an SüÃspeisen lässt keine Wünsche offen. Auch der Empfang und die Bedienung sind sehr freundlich.

At first we wanted to avoid eating at the restaurant in the famous Monastery, because we thought it would be one more tourist traps... what a surprise. The dishes were perfectly done mixing tradition with nouvelle cuisine. A place to recommend!
