Having read the reviews, we thought we must give this a try. We were not disappointed. The service was excellent and the food superb. The portion sizes, in some cases were slightly too big for our partners, but it depends on appetite and how hungry you are! The menu choices were excellent, as was the presentation and quality of food served. We had octopus, mussels, prawn cocktail ( not what you expect) and scallops for starters, followed by lobster pasta, steak, seafood pasta and swordfish. All thoroughly enjoyed.The house wine is adequate at â¬10, but for an extra â¬4, the Garda Merlot was worth it.Reasonably priced for the quality at around â¬130 for 4 with wine.When we return to Sirmione, we will certainly eat here again.

After we took our seats the staff ignored us for over 15 minutes, walking multiple times past us but not reacting to our attempts to even get a menu. Since the staff then continued to stand around and chat with each other instead of acknowledging our existence we decided to leave without getting any food or drinks.Good morning Karin,I'm sorry you didn't get the chance to have dinner in our restaurant. Unfortunately we can not remember what happened but I make some suppositions, it is always better to let the staff indicate your table before sitting down, I'm pretty sure you sitted on a table still to clear or out of the restaurant zone, note that the free tables in front of our Hotel Riel are used only for afternoon bar service.I sincerely hope to accommodate you in a near future, I'm sure you'll like our cuisine proposal.RegardsJacopo

We visit this restaurant every time we are in Sirmione. Raffaello was again an excellent host. The food was very good, the service quick and staff were attentive. I had mixed seafood pasta whilst my wife had a Nizzardo salad. There was good quantity and quality in the food. The drinks are reasonably priced. The location very good. Tables are separated so you don't feel that you are forced to listen to other people conversations. Eating outside under cover on a nice day this place is hard to beat.

We ate here the last time we were staying in Sirmione and really enjoyed the food and service. Second time around it was just as good. Great value meals, huge salads reasonable drinks and warm friendly service. Would recommend the lasagne, vingole, steak and pork, all really tasty.

Breakfast included buffet of cheese, ham , fruit juice and home made breads and cakes. I was provided with a gluten free breads for breakfast. It also offered a varied lunch and dinner with gluten free options.The Guest is our main purpose that's why we always try to meet your needs as much as possible. Visited with my daughter twice during our stay in sirmione once for lunch and once for dinner. This restaurant was recommended by our hotel and it didn't disappoint. The pumpkin ravioli was delicious. Also the chocolate souffle was a delight. A fantastic setting and friendly staff. We had dinner two nights at this fantastic restaurant and we would dine there every night if we could!We tried some of their pasta, beef and pork meat, pizza bread, desserts, bottled and house wine, and we enjoined every single meal. Especially their beef carpaccio and pasta with truffles are to die for! I would also highly recommend their entrecote (which was better than their crostata). Plenty of delicious desserts and we shared many of them like tartufo, creme brulee, tiramisu and cheesecake. Everything was of very high quality and generous quantity.The restaurant itself is nicely decorated, spotlessly clean and has cheerful atmosphere. You can choose a table inside in the middle of the classy interior or a table on a pleasant terrace outside. The menu is varried, the service is very professional, and the staff - friendly and smiling. They may not have a Michelin star yet but the real star of this restaurant is his owner and manager Paolo. An extraordinary person who make you feel happy and special. His presence among his guests is always gentle, smart, helpful... like a virtuoso.Grazie mille, Paolo!

Excellent in all aspects. Very big group managed properly without any troubles. Food simply delicious and location simply perfect. Good for groups but probably better for a smaller table were you can just sit, enjoy the view and experience amazing combinations of different tastes!
