We meant to visit the "Frohnauer Hammer Schau Hammer" on the other side of the road but they where closed for lunch so we figured we could do the same and the Restaurant looked very inviting in an old Wood Framed House that used to be the Foreman or Owners House of the Hammer Mill opposite.We managed to get a seat outside (watch out for some eager Wasps). They serve traditional Ore Mountain Food and some other typical German Staples so there is something for every taste.My dad had a Filet Steak and he felt it was the best he had in a long time - cooked to perfection. I had a East German Classic Soljanka which was just as I remember it (it's a Russian Meat Soup) and my Sister went for a Ore Mountain Dish with loads of meat and something like a hash brown - she loved it.The Service was great and it's not overly expensive either so a good choice when out and about.

Ich liebe das Einkehren hier, die Umgebung ist sehr romantisch, fast schon verwunschen und ruhig, der Kellner liebt seine Arbeit und grüÃt uns schon persönlich, das Essen von sehr groÃer Auswahl und jedes Mal mit Leidenschaft zubereitet und angerichtet. Es fällt mir immer sehr schwer mich zwischen all den leckeren Möglichkeiten zu entscheiden. Jedes Mal gibt es neue Kreationen, zum Beispiel "Barbara", ein Getränk aus Rhabarber, Prosecco und Himbeere - göttlich!Nach dem Essen muss man als Dessert einfach noch ein Stück der herrlichen Torten probieren, auch wenn es eigentlich schon lange nicht mehr reinpasst...Absoluter Geheimtipp - hier wird mit Leidenschaft gekocht, das schmeckt und sieht man!

being there with family. Small rooms with smell off kitchen (1. floor). Restaurant on good level, non smoking. Beautiful old style restaurant, helpful staf. Despite the architecture, the hotel is just ordinary mouintaim cottage. Only negative is, there there is no room (just restaurant), where you can be with your friends/family. Credit cards not accepted here - didn't get this....

Located at the main street in Bozi Dar has a very nice and cosy atmosphere. The Food was very good, serving big portions of dishes. We had steaks which were very good. alad was frish and tasty. The service was very friendly and proffesional.

The street on which Daro is located, is loaded with other restaurants, with cheaper prices and similar offerings. I would actually recommend to go to them. We followed the Trip Advisor recommendations, and were quite disappointed.The service was fast and attentive, however not very friendly. The food was disappointing though. This is not the first time we eat in Czech restaurants, and these dishes (we ordered 5 main courses) were on the bland side. The venison and beef steaks were very hard to chew, the Cordon Bleau was undercooked, and the goulash was very fatty and flavor-less.We visited Daniella restaurant in the evening, and enjoyed it much more

After reading all the commendations on this website, we went to Sklipek for lunch on 4.2.2017. The service was fast until she disappeared for 1h somewhere. The portions were ok, quite big but TASTELESS, both goulash and my schnitzel&fries. At least a good broth was included in the meal. And the price??? Well, the price was German... 129Kc for a daily menu in high season... well, Bozi Dar, what do you expect.... Start learning German or go home..

We ate 3 friends right after Christmas, very warm cute and cozy decorations, typical German food. Some dishes were delicious and some we just didn't know what to expect. The staff is very nice and charming ! We had a great evening overall

We (3 persons) arrived without a reservation and were lucky to get a table. The restaurant is huge with a lot of people coming across the border from Germany as a meal here is significantly cheaper (about 30%-40%). Unfortunately, the high volume and turn over of customers negatively affects the food quality. The beer was flat and the food was poorly seasoned. The waiter was in always in a hurry. It was borderline ok given the price but would not necessarily come back.
