Sant Joan de Labritja (Catalan pronunciation: [ˈsaɲ ʒuˈan də ɫəˈβɾidʒə], Spanish: San Juan Bautista) is a village and municipality of the Balearic Islands on northern Ibiza. Among others, the resorts of Portinatx and Cala de Sant Vicent are located there. The actual village of Sant Joan is a quiet street, dominated by an imposing Christian church, and is the meeting point of Sant Joan de Labritja Municipal Council. One may find several small cafés and restaurants (including the locally well-known Vista Alegre, as well as a taxi rank, outside the Municipal Council building and the local office of the Guardia Civil, the Spanish Civil Guard. Towards the west of the village is the origin of the Torrent de Labritja, a tributary of the Riu de Santa Eulária, the Balearic Island's only constant-flowing river, although the Torrent only contains water during the winter months; throughout the tourist season, the stream is a dry river bed full of green vegetation.

Within a wonderful enclave, ina plane between Santa Gertrudis and Sant Miquel, totally open to the outdoors with a great terrace with views to the nature and its main house. In our cuisine our stars are the products, our quality and a refined palate in te
We stayed at the Ca Na Xica hotel and tried different restaurants on our first two nights, both incidentally recommended by the hotel but below expectations. Thankfully we saved this delightful treat for our final night and it was right on our doorstep! We were greeted by our friendly and helpful waiter who gave us plenty of time to peruse the menus (wine, food and cocktails obviously ) after a wonderful aperol Spritz and Bloody Mary we were treated to some wonderful langoustines and the tastiest croquettas that either my wife or I had ever tasted. For main my wife had the delicious gnocchi and I had the most tender and delicious veal steak all washed down with a sublime Spanish red.I can’t sing their praises highly enough. When we return we will eat here each and every evening!

Stopped here twice as the local beach is a great destination in itself. Food and drink were amazing, service excellent, but the venue itself is a must-see: hammocks and comfy cushions all over the place and lots of space for little’uns to safely run around in.

We both enjoyed our meals. I am a vegan so it was nice for me to have such an extensive array of options on the menu. The staff were very friendly, accommodating to my specific needs. The countryside views and beautiful trees and scenery surrounding made it such a special night that we won’t forgetFrom a vegans point of view, I could not fault the food. When I book my annual trip to Ibiza, I immediately think of Balafia. I love everything about the restaurant. The unpretentious style, the lovely staff, the friendly owner, the beautiful terrace, the excellent food, the homemade aioli, the fresh tomatoes, the wonderful house wine and the mouthwatering hierbas. I love it!

We ate so well! Definitely recommend it! Their green juices are to die for. We also had their salad and meat focaccia. YUM. The place is super chilled and down to earth. Service was a bit over the place bc of the lunch rush hour, but the staff is nice and makes up for any delay:) hope to be back when next in Ibiza!:))

We have eaten here quite a few times and the food is always excellent, coupled with the best service you will get in any restaurant. The gentleman that serves you is 'old school' and everything is served perfectly, he obviously takes massive pride in what he does, which is so rear these days. No matter what food you order it is cooked to perfection. Even the house red wine is lovely and at 8 euros a bottle is an excellent tipple. We would highly recommend this place, especially if you want a special night with your special person.

Born from our passion for food, design and all things beautiful, we invite you to experience The Giri Café. A perfect location, nestled within the walls of a 300 year old townhouse and opening out onto a dreamy, sun-drenched garden; it’s hard to imagine a
There is nothing better to do on a Sunday in Ibiza than browse the wonderful artisan market at Sant Joan and then have a leisurely lunch at Giri Cafe. The service is brilliant, food and drinks fabulous and children are welcome. The colourful garden and whole experience are exceptional. I had the squid rice and my husband had a burger, we came as a family of 8 and had a lovely large round table in the garden. A memorable meal

Think 3.5 stars is more accurate as better than ‘average’ but not quite ‘very good’. For our first night, we read reviews on trip advisor and thought it is #1 so why not! If it hadn’t been for the reviews then it is unlikely we would have stopped there as it is quite basic and off the beaten track. However Spanish holidaymakers / residents were in there which was a good sign.We ate pork cheek and roasted lamb shoulder. Both lovely. Gin ok but rose a bit dodgy.Waiter was friendly and knowledgeable about local and fresh food. Was very quiet in there but waiter said lunch and breakfast were busy. Would we return - probably would if we were here for a week or longer but if less, then want to see what other restaurants can offer.

At La Luna Nell'Orto we offer the best Mediterranean cuisine where creative dishes, homemade fresh Italian pasta and tasty grilled meat and local vegetables are the main attraction of our menu. The essence of the unique flavor of our dishes lies in the ho
Delightful garden setting, food excellent, service helpful and quick. Burata starter recommended along with the black ink tagliatelle and pumpkin and ricotta ravioli. Some impressive appetisers as well. Great value

What an absolute gem this place is! Gorgeous, romantic, fairy-lit courtyard serving outstanding food and delicious cocktails and very reasonably priced for Ibiza. The bill for 2 of us was just 105 euros and we had a starter (the octopus and sea bass ceviche which was a special and was outstanding), 2 bao buns (pork and prawn which were absolutely out of this world), a main each (salmon ceviche and beef stew which were both delicious), a bottle of red wine and a cocktail each!We will be back! Highly recommended :)
