The town was formed in 1966 by the merger of three smaller settlements: Ruciane (German: Rudczanny, renamed Niedersee in 1938), Nida (German: Nieden) and Wola Ratajowa.

Food was great, with typical polish dishes. The service efficient and polite. The owner is charming and was willing to share his vision about the place with us. We do not speak Polish but google translator and the owner nephew (on vacation from Sweden) did a great job. The surrounding with old houses that Christoph renovated, ponds and fields are lovely.

Dość długo czekaliśmy, aż ktoś do nas podejdzie z kartą dań. Ale później już było tylko lepiej. Bardzo sensowne ceny. Duże porcje. Bardzo miła obsługa. Minus palący papierosy goście w ogródku na zewnątrz.

Taverna se nachází hned vedle objektu Mazurski RAJ. Chodli jsme se zde stravovat, protože taverna v objektu Mazurski Raj je předražená a jídlo nedosahuje kvality jako v KOTWICI. Jedná se o tavernu, kde se neobsluhuje, u okénka si objednáte, zaplatíte, dostanete číslo a u druhého okénka pak vyvolávají jednotlivá čísla a jídla. Bývá zde většinou plno, vystojíte si frontu, ale budete spokojeni. Mohli by mít zvlášť okénko na nápoje, protože u okénka, kde si objednáváte i čepují nápoje, takže pokud byste si chtěli jenom dokoupit něco k pití, budete muset znovu vystát celou řadu.

This is a beautiful place amongst a very well landscaped garden..they mostly serve Perogi, that is the Polish dumpling.Sitting outside is pleasant in the summer months.Food is tasty.I had a spinach soup and berry dumplings.The service was quite efficient.

Tu nie spotkałem kelnerów - obsługiwał zdaje się sam właściciel zachwalając jednocześnie danie dnia. Bardzo spore zaangażowanie zdecydowanie plasuje obsługę powyżej przeciętnej. Niestety, posiłek raczej już powyżej przeciętnej nie był - sok jakiś wodnisty, danie takie sobie, a czas w przypadku większej ilości gości może być długi (acz nie ma faworyzowania i posiłki podawane zgodnie z kolejnością).

No cóż. Troszkę się zawiedliśmy. Obsługa bardzo miła i pomocna a do tego profesjonalna. Zupa rybna bardzo dobra i śmiało polecam. Niestety zupy z raków nie było. Najbardziej zawiedziony jestem okonkami... To wspaniała rybka jednak nie w wydaniu tej restauracji. Moim zadaniem zbyt slabo wysmażona i za dużo mąki, co spowodowało, że czułem tylko mąkę a nie smak ryby. Pozostałe ryby były smaczne i świeże.

Located in the heart of the city it is easily accessible. There are many seats even in the high season you can always find a place there. The offer is it very very wide so everybody can find something for themselves. There's always nice and loud music and a very good atmosphere. It is definitely one of the choices to consider when searching for a good place to eat lunch or dinner. Really pleasant restaurant located at the main road (walk there is you can, it's hard to park). Attentive smiling staff, very tasty fish dishes. Ordered a highly recommended meringue cake, was great. Many families with kids around but genrally a nice place.
