Cannot recommend Wua! enough. We must have gone 6-7 times during our one week trip to Gran Canaria. The staff are lovely and polite. The food not only delicious, but a good value for money. We tried Wua! for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had croissants, burgers, salads, omelettes and technically most things from their menu and all tasted great. A very very busy small restaurant, when we went just found the last table. Plenty of staff but clearly not plenty of chefs. Agreeably very attractive waiters but waiting an hour for food is really not something to be proud of without some sort of apology. In their defence I think everybody turned up at the same time so I would give them the benefit of the doubt.Presentation is awesome but scraping your knife like chalk on a board is not a good thing.Only one vegetarian option is a bit disappointing and wasn't that great either. Hand cut chips were to die for though.Perhaps a better hit with all meat lovers.Perhaps. Second visit might pay dividends.

Had a lovely meal here on our last night food was great and we struggled to choose between all the tapas option they all sounded amazing! We finally settle on 5 dishes to share amazing, staff very attentive but overly house white wine was lovely but overall we thought it was a bit pricey compared to other tapas places we n the area

Whatâs not to like about Buddies Great menu superb drinks and friendly staff.During our last stay in Gran Canaria we probably visited Buddies most days. Sometimes just for a cuppa tea or coffee or sometimes for a snack or meal. The Kitchen is open to around 9 pm and all food is freshly prepared.I was wanting a snack and ordered a Cajun Chicken Wrap well this came with chips and wasnât so much a snack as a full meal. The Breakfast menu is excellent catering for all choices and the Sunday roast Chicken dinner was so big I couldnât even finish it but I did give it a seriously good try.Drinks are plentiful and served by friendly staff from cocktails to pints the entire range always available and the measures have to be seen to be believed.Weâre missing you already buddies Looking forward to the quiz that was cancelled on our only Thursday on the island LOL

The champagne sauce on my fish was to die for,refined and well balanced. Fernand chose a Rosé for us which perfectly suited my sole. I had escargot as a starter which came with a rich garlic butter and enough fresh baguette to soak it all up. I finished with a Crème brûlée which was served with a mixed berry compote...delicious. Firstly if you want to go especially on a Monday Evening book a table as it is a very popular place.It's only small but it packs a punch, the quality of the food is exceptional.We had the full portion of nachos to share as a starter and it was plenty for the three of us.Then two of us had the Bacon Burger and the other had the salmon burger. All of us agreed it was totally delicious.For dessert we tried the Apple Strudel again really good.The bar has a nice and chilled atmosphere and we was under no pressure though to leave the table.Give it a try you will not be disappointed.

Had read the reviews and were keen to try it. First attempt on a Saturday night they were fully booked. Booked for Monday evening and we were not disappointed!!! Build your own burgers were phenomenal and hubby had the steak. All was delicious! Highly recommend! Service top notch and attentive. Not the cheapest food around, but you get what you pay for!

Found this Gem by chance Both had daily specials of Mushroom soup to start then the exquisite suckling pork with herb potatoes and sauer kraut, finishing off with passion fruit sorbet and liquid chocolate pudding. This was our second visit to this restaurant, the first being in May. This restaurant really is the best place to eat, staff so attentive and food is to die for, everything fresh and hot, excellent value for money my wife and I will be visiting again.
