Before heading off to the Dali Theatre-Museum, we decide to go for a bite to eat at this charming little restaurant near the museum and the Rambla. As it was a beautiful sunny day, we had our meal on the terrace. The owner is French and this is clearly reflected in the menu. Everything sounded delicious and the plates that paraded out from the kitchen were all tempting. We made our selection from the lunch menu and were thrilled about our choices. Everything was fresh and carefully presented and served. It is certainly in my top ten best lunches that I had during this trip and would welcome an opportunity to return for a sampling of more delicious offerings from the menu. If lunch is this good, I would definitely try this place for dinner!

Me and my boyfriend booked a table for his birthday dinner. We waited a long time to get a menu and drinks, but they warned us before we were seated, and we still choose to stay there. We wonât regret it, because the food was absolutely amazing (meat rice was my favorite). Even tho the restaurant was busy and only 2 waiters working, they stayed professional and we got amazing service. Best place in Figueres! We dined in the evening, wanting something more refined than tapas, and we were not disappointed. The waiting staff were friendly and helpful and communicated in French. My wife had carpaccio de Gambas while I had the paté de foie. For the main course we shared a brilliantly cooked and served seafood stew in black rice.We wanted a local wine appropriate to the main course and the recommendation was good and not expensive.

Went here after reading the reviews and was not disappointed at all. Menu is fresh and amazing and very reasonable or the quality. Tempura vegetable starter (beautifully done and not at all oily) and a calamari/potato/salad main and beef with potatoes and a beautiful gravy and 2 glasses wine all for £37. meals were really generous size. Menu is in Spanish but staff made excellent suggestions as we do not speak Spanish. Yum yum yum

Jean-Sebastien and his crew were so kind and patient with our group of 30 teenagers on a school trip! The food was fresh and plentiful and served with a smile. Huge, tasty portions and yummy desserts. We loved it. The location, just steps from the Dali Museum, is perfect for a visit to Figueres. Highly recommended!

With four people we took a table on the terrace and we ordered a menu-del-dia.Immediately we smelled a pungent odor. We thought at first that the cat, who was walking on the terrace had urinated under our table, but therefor the odor was to strong.It soon appeared that the waiter spread this bad air around him.The likely cause: Sweating many days without taking a shower and without having changed his T-shirt.With each visit from him at our table, > or even when he passed<, we were confronted with this stench. Unfortunately we had already ordered, so leaving was not an option anymore..Incomprehensible, that his colleagues had not corrected him. Even a dead man would still smell this guy.We've eaten as quickly as possible, so we could leave this unpleasant atmosphere.Desde la Dirección del Cafè del Centre, sentimos muchÃsimo la desagradable situación ocurrida en nuestro establecimiento. Por nuestra parte actuaremos de inmediato para que esto no vuelva a producirse nunca más. Reciba nuestras sinceras disculpas una vez más. Nos gustarÃa que pudieran volver a nuestro restaurante en otra ocasión , para poder demostrarles que a sido un hecho aislado y que nunca mas se va a producir. Nice dinner in the historic interior, with elegant tables. Being in a large group, we had mixed feelings regarding the food. Some of the dishes were outstanding, like a beef tail or fish. The others quite average, like pasta with prawns, or langustine salad. The service and the wine choice were faultless.The place to return.
