This was a positive surprise. Usually I do not even visit restaurants that are located in hotels, just because I do not think hotels and restaurants are in the same business! But, this was proving me wrong! Very good Lapland(ish) food. Very tasty, very good looking presentations that really made you enjoy the eating as an experience. Good wine selections available. The only minor comment from my side was that the waitress was somewhat distant and disengaged.Hello,Thank you for you nice feedback. This restaurant takes a bit of fine looking to find, since it is at the basement of a building. So you could miss it if you are looking for its windows. It is centrally located. The food was good (my lamb dish was a bit too salty). The decoration and atmosphere were both excellent.

Restaurant is located some hundred meters from main walking district. Decoration is greek with white and blue table clothes.Menu is mainly highlighting Crecian specialties or house specialities. We Afrodite Chicken, which comes with haloumi cheese and pepper sauce. The other one was chicken souvlaki. Both portion came with option of different potatoes or additional salad. My with potato wedges didn't feel very Greek, more American. Entire portion was bit dry, they recommend to have souvlaki with pita and tzaziki. Honestly that makes portion too big for Europeans to consume. Size vs price, make good deal, you are full when you leave.Staff was nice.

The food quality is usually of a good quality here, and the place is cozy and authentic. However, the service has been rather slow on many occasions, and I do not mean the actual food preparation time but rather waiting for another round of drinks and things like that, seemingly nobody is interested to earn extra penny here and there.

The pricing is a bit on the expensive side for what you get. Ate supper here on NY eve. Made reservation for 19:00 via email about 3 days in advance. Restaurant about half full when we arrived, more people arrived at 20:00. Walk in got turned away so glad we chose an earlier time/made reservation. Good service. Both had mushroom soup to start, was v good (besides milk froth on top, which I removed) and small piece of lingonberry bread a nice and tasty touch. Re mains, had reindeer, b/f had serloin steak. Both dishes v good, meat tender. Was however surprised that "deep fried potatoes" with sirloin were just chips, would have been disappointed esp at that price but b/f not bothered, they were nice. Otherwise vegs and sauces lovely. Mains â¬30 +/-. Had a nice drink with meal - cloudberry, lingonberry and vodka. Also had lovely dessert, small chocolate cake with scoop of blackcurrant ice cream and some fresh blueberries and strawberry. Good choice for regional dishes.
