With 10 people we were able to enjoy so much of the menu and everything was so fresh and delicious. Our servers were sweet and very efficient. The grouper and red snapper were so good and the Dutch apple cobbler and licorice liquor were my favorite for dessert. One other great thing was they had 2 sizes for every meal, large or small portions:)

Nice awesome 100 year old home history here at the Quinta Del Carmen. The four couples from Florida made reservations here on Saturday and we had a nice outdoor table. A nice gentle breeze kept us cool making the outdoor seating very comfy.Good tasty, well prepared food mixed in with our cocktails and our white wine made this place a must try in Aruba. Great attentive service by our waitress who was on top of her game. Highly recommend this cozy home eatery!!!Enjoy!!!

Went on recommendation of friends. Loved our first experience, food, service and atmosphere. Returned two weeks later and could not believe that it was the same restaurant. Service was good but nothing compared to first visit. We ordered exactly the same meal since we enjoyed it so much the first time, it was just awful! Found out that it was a substitute chef....they sent their regular one to Sole Mare, their chef was sick. People next to us were very upset about their meal as well, there were five of them and they said they will never be back. Neither will we.

Very good food and unique for the wife and I, Dutch pancakes are more like crepes with delicious toppings, coffee was hot and plentiful and the waitress âs were delightful! Youâve got to try it next time youâre in the area

We ate here 3 times in our short week vacation in Aruba. Real Dutch food : Zuurkool, Boerenkool, Hutspot with rook worst, excellent french fries and great "bitterballen". Seating is mostly outside. Located near the urgent care. Seats are a bit hard. Lots of Dutch people frequent this place.

We were a walk up so we weren't sure we could get a table. The hostess was wonderful and was able to give us a table that someone did not show up for. The meal was amazing as was ALL of the servers. Ours was Lucy, who has only been on the island for a few weeks. They all had wonderful accents so we began asking them where they were from. They all were from Holland (makes sense since this island is under Dutch Rule). It is open air seating with a small bar and a few tables inside in the air conditioning. On this particular night (and it may be every night, I don't know) they had a saxophone playing softly in the corner. This made the setting for a wonderful evening dinner with friends.

We stopped in towards the end of the night just to take a peak in. We ended up enjoying some outstanding sushi at the bar and had a great end of the night. The bartender was super friendly and they have a great selection of creative cocktails, whiskeys, tequilas, etc. We had a couple of drinks and ended back for drinks the next night as well. We were so excited to visit this restaurant, after reading all the positive reviews on TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed. The food was tasty and authentic, the atmosphere was most definitely Bavarian and the service was so warm and friendly! We had a lovely dining experience!
