Every time I visit Paris I always make time to make the 20 minute trip outside the city to this little place. The food is outstanding and completely homemade; fresh every day. The menu is always changing and it's always incredible. It's a family run business and they truly make you feel like family. Best kept secret! Great place to linger and enjoy a quiet, delicious and leisurely meal with friends and family!

Had a lovely meal after a day's sightseeing at Versailles. Scallops and the best salmon linguine we'd ever had - the presentation of the Seafood Platter was wonderful.Despite us looking somewhat dishevelled and having poor French , we were welcomed and received great service.

We went there last sunday 17th July and had a lovely lunch. My Mother in law had fish of the day Plaice it was delicious. I had a salad with pan fried shrimps and daurade . And my husband had the butchers piece with home made chips . the desserts were wonderful and the staff excellant. It was my second time there and next time I'm in Paris I will return.

A must try!Succulent Gillardeau oysters N3, beautiful grilled cod and a plate of sauté boletus with garlic made our meal a real success.The staff is well trained, pleasant and efficient.You have the choice either to stay at the Brasserie level (cheaper), or go downstairs for a more formal and intimate moment.Bravo!

After trying different pedra altars and seeing that the quality was lacking we decided to test this one.To our surprise we had a good dinner with a mixed seefood platter and garlic prawns. Service was a bit relaxed.

My wife and I were in the little town and chose the restaurant because of the exterior seating. Nice sun and a good view of the surrounding buildings. We took a salad and the Magret de canard. Both were excellent. We had a beer and two cafes and the total was barely over 30â¬. Excellent value for the price.

Nous sommes allés dîner au Petit Sabayon ou nous avons été très satisfaits. Un service dynamique et souriant, des plats bien cuisinés et bien présentés. Ambiance agréable avec une déco qui a pris un coup de jeune avec ces nouveaux gérants,( il y en avait besoin). Avions connu ce resto il y a quelques années, après plusieurs changements pas top, celui ci enfin positif !!!

Just off the A12 from Paris to the South of France, Au Menil is as close to eating with a French family as a restaurant can get. Madame will give you a warm welcome, Monsieur is a knowledgeable, experienced chef with enough creativity in him to surprise you and the grandchildren are in pictures on the wall. You will enjoy the menu and the prices as well as the carte des vins, offering solid and reasonably priced variety. Even our tiny grandchild felt the warm atmosphere and behaved like a little princess, which is not her habit.
