This is a coffee place at the square just outside of the train stations and bus stop, easy to find. I recommend the double espresso and choosing any cake you like from the selection - I had the almond one and really liked it.Dear Ewuchka,thank you for your kind words. Beautiful restaurant in a mountain set up. The employees and waiters were very friendly and welcomed us with a smile. The fish was nothing special. We tried Trout as there are super tasty trouts in Slovakia, it can be from the river or from the pond. We forgot to ask if it a whole fish or just a filet.It was a filet unfortunately. It was quite salty ( and we use salt a lot). We were not impressed by the fish. The vegetables and the side dish (under the fish) was excellent. The price was too high for the dish. I will not try again the fish if I go there again. I was told by friends that the restaurant is excellent, maybe for other dishes. It is a pity.

We picked this place at random, and liked it so much we went back a second time. Great, good-quality slovak food, nicely presented -- also fabulous home-made pizza! Seems popular with locals, which is always a good sign. English of the staff we encountered was adequate, but there's a clear English menu. Highly recommended -- don't miss the home-made strudel.Note that it's cash only (you won't need very much), and that there are two separate dining areas, a cafe/bar-style place downstairs, and a slightly more formal restaurant upstairs.Thank you!

We were skiing in the near by mountains and one of us had a birthday that day, we looked for good restaurant in the area. Everything We tried surprised us presently. We tried every starter - each very different and tasty. Three of us took Beef cheek, those we also pretty good. One of us took chicken salad - those had a bit too much strong sauce inside, but still tasty.we tried every desert they had - each was better than other. Waitress was very nice, recommended a very interesting local wine. Price was also very good. 4 people with starters, 3 main, 1 salads, 3 deserts, two beer and good wine bottle was only 80 Eur in total!

I and my partner, we were at Liptovar twice. Once for late lunch & once for dinner. Everything what we ordered was very tasty. We enjoyed it a lot. Burgers are super tasty. Beef soup was amazing both days. Huspenina - perfect. Wild meat super tasty as well. We come back again.Amazing food for excellent price!It is a pity that the beer taps are closed 30 mins before the closing time

We went there for a hen party. We booked a big table for probably 12 girls. Everybody ate something else but we were all very satisfied with a food. I had a very good hamburger:) also drinks were delicious + nice staff...Recommend to visit!

The burgers are globally good and the place is nice but you feel the touristic trap. The prices are higher than anywhere else in the city. We were there with a friend (both living there) and we asked for tape water with our meal. After our meals, they finally served us 2 glass of water. When we had to pay we realised they factured us the glass of water for 1 euro each (30 cent /dL). In a city where you can buy a pint of beer for 1 euro, paying the same price for a glass of tape water seems absurd. We asked the waitress about this politic and she just said that the boss was in Poprad. They have a really strategic position in the city center that makes it really frequented by the tourists but I think you can easily find better and cheaper if you look a bit around.

We visited restaurant Strachanovka on 21-22th September with our company Sodexo CZ&SK (130 people). Interior is very nice, great authentic Slovak kitchen, drinks, free wifi, kindly personal and service. First day we choose dishes from standard menu. Next day restaurant Strachanovka prepared raut - the best dishes from Slovak cuisine and typical Slovak music (cimbalovka) and dance. I recommend!

LH Point was pretty busy when we came, but the staff had everything under control and we were served quickly. We really liked our pizza and salad, the pizza with bryndza (local tasty sheep cheese) and tomatoes tasted like truly Italian meal. I definitely recommend this place.

Here you can have a good pizza, or a lot of other types of local food. The offer for drinks is very good. The place is clean, the serving is fast and the atmosphere is cosy. Toddlers can have fun at a special table just for them, with coloured pencils and some toys. It is good till your food gets served.
