Went as a group of 8 people for business dinner and had a mixed experience. On arrival, we were the only guests there, the music was very loud and made conversation difficult. We asked to have it turned down and they went off, reduced very little. Asked again, and again before finally it was acceptable. Food was pretty good and everyone seemed satisfied, only my salmon was really over cooked when I asked it to be pink. When choosing wine went through the not too large wine list and selected, asked for it. Waiter came back saying unavailable. Chose another. Came back unavailable. We went to look at their cellar. Only one bottle of white wine, not one type but one bottle. Desert was excellent. The Restaurant is really cossy and cool. They play nice songs on there LG boombox.The best part I liked about the most is there awesome service specially crew member ABIB and the manager MARIA. They are always available to make that the guest always gets the best of there service.

I was nicely surprised to find another good dining option in Lagos this week with my first visit to Villa Medici.I attended a retirement party with around 100 guests the event was well managed and the catering excellent for such a large party.The food was really very tasty, obviously we were on a set menu but the entire experience was a good one.

This Sheraton has several restaurants. There is a dining area outside and an Italian inside called La Giara The food is generally of a high standard and priced accordingly too as it's a 5 star hotel. We ordered the seafood ravioli which was pretty good but the grilled salmon was much better. The salad was ok but contained tinned mushrooms etc which is less than ideal.Tiramisu dessert was not right so we sent it back and they removed it from the bill. Service was very good overall.

Casper & Gambini has an amazing menu with a lot of options but on this visits it was all about breakfast. They are open Early enough to get breakfast and have a wide array of options. I had the pancakes and sausages with their awesome ice tea. They also have great waffles that are worth a try! It was definitely an experience!

Talindo is an old favourite in Lagos and they have certainly kept the quality of the food up. I had a steak with prawns and it was really good. Our waiter tried very hard but was a little unsure of himself. The downstairs section is being refurbished so we were on the second floor which wasn't as cozy. At the end of the meal I wanted to pay with my international visa card and we were informed that they currently only accept local credit cards. They really should have let us know earlier. I didn't have enough cash on hand and my Nigerian colleague had to pick up the tab. Not great.Hello,Our international machine was down and has just been replaced by our bank. We apologise for the inconvenience.Happy to hear you enjoyed your meal and we can't wait to get done with our renovation. Hopefully see you when we reopen the main restaurant.Best regards,Claudio

After two months in Nigeria I wanted to have Italian food again and went to La Veranda. I ordered the Spaghetti Carbonara, but that was not what they served me. I got overcooked spaghetti with creme fraiche and cheese. Very disappointing! I don't know how the pizza tastes but forget the pasta.

The absolute hidden GEM of LAGOS. Tucked away in a side street. Art Cafe has everything: superb food, numerous choices of coffee from Brazil and Columbia, chilled music for breakfast, louder performed music for dinner, an English like pub bar, eclectic mix of world Art Deco, unusually created tables and pleasant well trained staff. There is nothing, I mean nothing to dislike. Visit the place, soak up the ambience, browse the art displays on the ground floor, sit in the AC interior or amongst the flora and fauna outside. You could be in the best of places in London, Paris, Mystic or Copacabana it is really that good.

RSVP is a lovely hangout spot. Trendy, great ambience, great food, good drinks; they also have a very extensive wine menu with both indoor and outdoor sitting areas. It's an upscale place and gets busy particularly on weekends (expectedly), a reservation is also required to ensure you get space to eat. It's a bit pricey so be prepared for that when visiting.
