Snubblade över detta lite "dolda" matställe av en slump. Ãven om de huvudsakligen har take away finns det nÃ¥gra bord utanför. Att äta pÃ¥ plats är sÃ¥ledes väderberoende. Maten är dock fantastisk! Den är väl värd en omväg och "risken" att den inte kan avnjutas pÃ¥ plats. Kan inte nog rekommenderas!

Vi var ett gäng här i början på november för att avnjuta deras stora lunchbuffé. Rikligt och välsmakande till ett relativt humant pris. Vi fick ett fönsterbord med utsikt över omgivningarna, trevligt. Serviceminded och trevlig personal. Att äta här kan rekommenderas.

It was a bit difficult to find a place for meeting a friend for lunch on a summer Tuesday in Kungälv, but Ãlvsmagasinet Hamnkrog & Lounge turned out to be a great choice. Located in an upscale looking residential area, Ãlvsmagasinet has a large terrace on the riverfront with views of the town´s old castle, green forests and .. a highway bridge. Their buffet lunch seems popular but is not available during the summer. We all ate their pulled pork and it was really nice, well prepared and spicy, large portions served with toast, guacamole, nachos and salad. Can recommend this, or the shrimp sandwich that we saw others order. The location is a bit odd, in the back of a low office building, but this place is absolutely worth the short walk from downtown Kungälv. Also if you want to go out for a drink on the terrace in the evening, as they have a good selection of bottled beer and other alcohol.

ëThe location is great. Right by the river, view over the castle and in old Kungälv. On the road to Marstrand.The staff was great.The rooms are big, but they are in need of up-dating especially the bathrooms.We stayed in the annex. Unfortunately there was a group staying there which had a party until 4 in the morning. The reception offered a discount as compensation.

Swedish friends brought us here for a late lunch. The food was lovely; order a main course then select salads, bread and soup from the buffet. Wonderful service and staff very helpful with english translations. We had yummy gluten-free treats for dessert with tea and coffee. For tea you go into the shop area and select your preferred brew to make yourself.

I was there on Motherâs Day and it was very busy. Still found a place outside on the terrace. Cars park in front of your nose. Not so nice. I took secondi with meat. Not a good choice. Pizzas are probably better. The meat was rather elastic and not easy to cut. For about 25 Euro really disappointing.

The food was absolutely delicious. We ate multiple appetizers and main dishes, and they were all top-notch. My partner described his porkflank as "the best thing he's ever eaten". He's very critical, so that's high praise. I've got a lot of food-allergies and they modified the dish so I could still have it. The price was very okay as well. It had a very relaxed setting with dimmed lighting and special music especially for the bathroom, which was also very nicely decorated.
