Excellente adresse avec cadre agréable et personnel non seulement professionnel mais également très sympathique. Le contenu des assiettes est très correct et de qualité. Vous ne regretterez pas, par contre, un conseil, si possible, réservez à l'avance.

Had two London burgers but wished we'd ordered the salads as they looked more appetising. Did not like the "bacon" in the burger but the fries were nice. Very weird 46cl carafe of wine was reasonable at â¬6.60 but the burgers at â¬13.60 were a bit expensive for me and not that seasoned well although good meat was used

Excellent dinner here tonight having trawled the streets of Evreux looking for somewhere open. Starters of a dozen snails and a seafood platter to die for; crayfish. Sea snails, oysters, clams etc.....then mains of perfectly prepared steaks, and desserts of cheese and isle flotante. Bottle and a half of good house wine, plus a couple of aperitifs. â¬75. Around £50. Just incredible. Go!!!

The first time we stayed here a local party of more than 40 was booked into the restaurant. That is quite an endorsement. We ate here twice in eight days and very much enjoyed both meals, which were imaginative and cooked to perfection. The menu is not extensive, but there's something for most tastes, and the service is attentive. Incidentally, the after-dinner coffee is far better than that available at breakfast.

We choose the restaurant because it was the closest to our hotel. THe very friendly service did offer us their wine cart first - even so we liked the beers better. The mussels were prepared to the standard way - good but nothing out of the ordinary. I feel their deserts are the most special point their offers and recommend the rum tart with fruits !

We chose the 22 euro menu which only offered two options for each course. The starters and the dessert were ok but the main course was very disappointing. The mackerel fish was unappetising. It was overcooked and was sitting on oily pastry with a couple of tomatoes and undercooked courgettes. We felt this dish required very little (if any) cooking skill! The service was slow. We were ignored for a long time while the waiter hovered over other diners on neighbouring tables who had chosen the more expensive (58 euro!) menu!The restaurant was not busy so there was no excuse for the poor service. We have eaten out a great deal in France and have often noticed that English speaking diners (however good their French!) are sometimes treated as second class citizens - receive slower service, less attention etc than their fellow French diners. I hope I'm wrong in this!

we came here for the Michelin rating and liked it a lot. Positives were the attentive staff and nice outdoors setting by the little creek. Food was good, not great, but the experience was still nonetheless very pleasant. I liked the seafood Duo. Tiramisu was great.

My wife and I visited for lunch on our way from Giverny to the D-Day beaches, basing our selection on Tripadvisor reviews. We were not disappointed. I selected the Menu Mer at Euro 38; slightly overcooked scallops were followed by prawns with chorizo on risotto (excellent) and a fine grilled St. Pierre fish fillet. My wife chose the Menu Decouverte at Euro 24.50, with a goat cheese and smoked duck salad followed by cod. We both enjoyed the rich profiteroles dessert. Two minor criticisms, which should be easy enough for the restaurant to correct - two of my plates were slightly chipped, and we had to gaze at our empty plates between courses for far too long before they were cleared away.

My husband and I have been traveling throughout France for the last 10 days. We have eaten in excellent restaurants in Lyon, Paris, and Versailles. While traveling through Evreux to visit Normandy, we found this outstanding restaurant on Trip Advisor. All three courses were not just good, but superb. The reviews were spot on. We arrived a little early at 7:15 PM, and were the first people seated. More than 25 people came in after us in, and only the first two couples without reservations were able to be seated. I would recommend reservations, it is definitely worth your time! Thank you for the great food and excellent service.
