This place has gone greatly downhill we used to go all the time and the food was great but on our last two visits the food has declined rapidly. The garlic bread did'nt even taste of garlic and my meatballs were tasteless. My wifes Mussels were nice except for the sauce , it would have cut your throat with Salt. One person serving and one person in kitchen , not good ! Will be giving it a by ball from now on as the prices are quite high now and there are other cheaper and better eateries. Real shame about this place as we used to love it.

We enjoyed sharing some Tapas dishes in McGeoughs in Dundalk. We shared Steak Bruschetta, Chicken Tikka Skewer, Burger Shot & Potato Chorizo Cheese. All were served promptly, nice and hot & decent Tapas portions. Reasonably priced at 33 Euros in a busy pub. First pint of “red beer” from a local brewery went flat in a few minutes, second pint of Smithwicks Red was fine.

We dropped in here as a pit stop on our way home from a day-trip to Belfast and were delighted by the quality of food on offer. The pizzas were authentic Italian pizzas with wonderful crusts and great mozzarella. My husband and I also had bresaola and a salami and cheese platter. We couldn’t leave without trying the cannoli and tiramisu, which were both delicious. Highly recommend. Don’t be put off by the restaurant decor. The food is very good.

Myself and my husband dined here tonight. I messaged on Facebook earlier today to check the restaurant was open as the last time we went there shortly after Xmas the place was closed. However when we arrived at 5pm we were told the restaurant was full and the bar man said he was told to take no more walk ins. I should’ve been told this when I messaged earlier. However we were happy to have a few drinks first. At 7pm I went into the restaurant to see if we could get a table in a while. Half the restaurant was cordoned off. The waitress said only two tables would be available later. One right beside the pay desk and one right beside the toilets. We decided to eat in the bar instead off the restaurant menu. We had the chicken wings each which were lovely. We also ordered the trio of goats cheese bruschetta to share between us. The trio was a duo. Of very basic bruschetta which was massively overpriced at €8.95. I mentioned the fact that there was only 2 bruschetta to the barman and he laughed and to the waitress who said it was a misprint in the menu. We had the same main course. Cajun chicken. It was so basic. Most certainly not restaurant food. Desserts were nice. I got a bottle of New Zealand Sauvignon blanc. I always used to get the Villa Maria Marlborough which was delicious and €22. The only Marlborough they had was now €29. I ordered it and it was pretty awful. Tasted really cheap. As did the glass of Prosecco I had. All in all it was so disappointing. Not at all like it used to be. When the bar man gave us the bill I said I wasn’t happy with the main but it made no difference. It cost us €24 in taxis to get there and home. We will never be back.

Some pubs lean more towards the drinks, some lean more towards the food. Fitzpatrick's has plenty of drinks, but they lean more towards the latter. Some very creative menu choices here, and they also had a nice set price menu for lunch the day we were there. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The Halloween decorations are incredible and are, I assume, the reason why it was fully booked on a Sunday afternoon. Visited the Windsor restaurant recently. We had a table reserved for 17 of us. They did it up so that children were at one table and adults at another, which worked out fine. Additionally we were in a separate place in the restaurant and we were able to close the doors, so as not to disturb others eating.... We were making a bit of noise. Food was great and the service was really good and friendly.
