On our driving tour of Andalusia, we stopped for a meal in Ubrique. By accident, we found this wonderful "gastobar" bistro and enjoyed an excellent array of tapas and raciones in the middle of a weekday afternoon. The room has comfortable seating, interesting décor, attentive service, and excellent food. Highly recommended!

popped into this restaurant for tapas as Casa Pepe below in the square served only dinners. In the event we had bulls-tail ravioli. Really excellent. Accompanied by a good red wine it made a really outstanding dinner completed by coffee from a caffeteria. Charming waitress too. Restaurant closes early (9.30pm)

It's difficult to think of any way this could have been improved. A beautiful terrace restaurant with a tinkling stream alongside and views of the mountains beyond. Intuitive service that arrived just when you wanted it and an interesting menu with delicious options at all courses. Despite the availability of a good value menu del dia, we chose from the carte. I can thoroughly recommend the Fried Beans with local Black Pudding starter, and the kid goat main. As for the figs with mascarpone - wow! We're truly delighted you so enjoyed the Food and Service at Molino del Santo - and of course the beautiful natural surroundings. We very much look forward to welcoming you back again one day soon...why not stay the night and sample our Breakfast as well?!

La Fructuosaâs cuisine has always been rooted in tradition and the quality of our mostly locally sourced products. Our recipes are regularly renewed and new creations added to the menu to offer diners a culinary experience and a tribute to Andalusian cuis
The food was good, especially the starter. The service was poor however. They were totally understaffed meaning we didnât get drinks when we wanted. We had to wait for ages to order. The other point was that the discount was not applied at the same nd and when it was the receipt showed a discount of 23%. When I queried whether the 30% discount had been applied, I was told very sternly as if I was an idiot that the discount only applied to food. Disappointing all in all.Dear Sir, I am sorry that you did not enjoyed our restaurant. I was absent the night you came to our restaurant and all our guests arrived at the same time in our restaurant which has created a slower service than usual. The promotion we ran this month applied indeed only to food but it should have been explained to you in a respectful manner. Please accept our apologies if it wasn't the case. Kind regards, Daniel

On an apparently slow afternoon, our party of 4 arrived at the end of our three hour hike inJuly only 30 minutes before closing for lunch. They graciously agreed to serve us. We had not seen the reviews but were grateful and then amazed at the wonderful food and unhurried service. We had delicious tapas, cervezas, and wine! A welcome treat at the end of the trail.

Lovely restaurant with helpful staff. Food was excellent, service was quick and efficient. My wife's duck was particularly nice although slightly too rare for her liking. My shish kebab was ok, although the menu said it was hot (spicy) it wasn't. The deserts were delicious but the Nutella desert was just a bit too much and very rich.Look forward to visiting this restaurant again soon.Dear Mr. Sean,First of all thank you so much for write your good opinion about our restaurant, we are happy because you like very much.In one hand, about the Shish Kebab, we haven' t got any information in our Menú about that this one is with hot spicy, we write in our Menú: " Veal Shish kebab with tzatziki sauce ( minced beef with spices and yogurt sauce) , sorry if you think this is with hot spicy. In another hand, about the duck, we are happy because you like, perhaps you feel it was too rare because is not normal duck, is duck breast. We hope we can recived you in the future like you say.Thank you so much,Best Regards,Posada el Parral.

Family Restaurant. Spanish and Mediterranean traditional cooking Tapas & Portions to share or not! Open for lunch and dinner Great selection of wines!
This was our first experience of Spanish food in GaucÃn and we were thrilled to find this beautiful restaurant on our door step. The owner was so welcoming, we felt at ease and relaxed immediately. The restaurant is perched above a pretty town square and is decorated in a charming style. The very helpful owner helped us choose a combination of sharing dishes for our family to try. When they were served to us we were overwhelmed by the exquisite presentation and the taste was absolutely beautiful. Everything was so fresh and delicious...the salads and fruits were bursting with Spanish sunshine! The puddings - a brownie with caramel ice cream and fried milk (gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!!!) - completed our perfect meal.If you visit GaucÃn you must try Azulete...it really is stunning! Thank you very much for your nice review!Pleasure to serve you and very happy that you enjoy our food, service and atmosphere.Thank you for coming!Best RegardsAzulete Team

We were staying in a friends villa in the side of the mountains 10 mins from this beauty. So glad we dined here. We own an italian in Cheshire and love trying new places and when you find a gold mine like this you have to shout about it. Firstly the owner and the main waiter who served us on every visit were so friendly and welcoming and made our evenings more special. The place....hidden out of the main areas and such a beautiful restaurant that its well worth the drive to it. The food....WOW. Prefection. The veal chop, to die for. The salads, vegetables fish, steaks...full of flavour and left you wanting more. Great for the kids too. Can't wait to go back just to visit here. AmazingThank you very much for visiting us and repeating each night. We love having clients like you.We hope to see you again through our restaurant.Again, we thank you and wish you cordial greetings from the Valdivia Restaurant team.

Charming restaurant in the historic "pueblo blanco" of Gaucin. The weekly changing menu has an Andalucian touch and offers local and seasonal produce.
We have visited Platero and Co several times, Each visit a delight. The setting, the food, and the service are all fantastic. You will really enjoy it all.Oh , and the Almond Vodka given at the end of the meal, a simple delight !
