We ate the best meal of our 3 weeks in France here. 2 fish dishes and a duck-burger, fantastic. The staff were great too. Highly recommended!

A perfect respite from too much sun at the beach. The menu has something for everyone in the family and is reasonably priced. There is hardly anything on the menu that costs more than â¬15 for example. The moules / frites are excellent. The burgers will fuel kids for hours. The coffee with dessert sampler for â¬7 is a perfect finale to a good meal.

We had the menu of the day for lunch. It was delicious from start to finish. The cod fritters to start were amazing. The childrenâs menu was also very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely return again.

Eating in Hourtin at this time of year is quite restrictive. My girlfriend and I went for a wednesday night dinner, it was a warm evening, and the restaurant was surprisingly busy. We both opted for the 27.50 formule menu. The food was absolutely excellent- the duck main course was exceptionally nicely cooked, and a very generous portion. A carafe of house claret was just 5.50. Highly recommended.

Restaurant excellent, du fait maison, accueil chaleureux, portions généreuses. Nous allons souvent au Portugal et sommes contents de retrouver cette cuisine ici. Un très bon rapport qualité prix.

At first glance it seems an ordinary place, crammed in between a few other restaurants and not standing out. But then you find that the people are friendly, and the pizza is of a quality I haven't come across in ages (not too salty)! Simply excellent, and for a very reasonable price. You should also try the "desert of the day", it'll surprise you too (we got the tiramisu). Have only tried the pizzas but they have a lot of other stuff as well.

Une ballade en bord de mer, arrêt par azard dans cet établissement. Accueil très sympa, nous avons déjeuné en intérieur. La patronne nous a laissé du temps pour choisir, c'est appréciable. Nous avons apprécié le "fait maison", que se soit les fisch and chips, le burger ou les magrets, tout était bon ! nous y retournerons !

Like the other reviewers have said it is perfectly placed for a stop-off bite to eat when coming off the beach. Veggie Pizza was great (best one I had during my travels in France) plus service excellent.very busy with people lining up for tables which speaks for itself.

OK if you like large lumps of pork + boiled potatoes - I had chips with mine ! Nice atmosphere though and often has live music, which is well advertised in advance - very busy at weekends.
