What really stood out for me was the people in the restaurant. They were helpful and friendly, explaining the menu to us in English and offering help in any ways possible. That is really 5-star service. The food is also delicious. Casual non pretentious French cooking. Very rustic. A real comfort food. I recommend going early just when they open because it gets busy an hour after opening time. There were quite a few things on the menu we wanted to try but just couldnât stomach anymore. Missed the cheese for dessert. Hopefully We can go back again before we leave Paris.

I've been in this restaurant during the lunch break with colleagues. We had reserved and we ate three courses in less than one hour. Quality and service were excellent!

Really good restaurant. Perfect service, great welcoming and superb dining room.Went there last week with a couple of friends that recommended us the place and we were not disappointed at all.Prices are more than correct for what they offer. I wonder how much would we pay for this restaurant if it was in Paris... maybe 50/60 euros? Took a menu for like 34 euros that had.-Starter: Foie gras with salad that was super fresh -Main: Canette that was just superb. Really tender and perfect cooked.-Dessert. Dont even remember the name but its the only reason why i cannot give 5 stars (give them 4 @googlemaps and 5 here so it makes it 4,5) to this place, because i just didnt enjoy it. I think they shall offer something like a cheesecake or a brownie to be perfectWe had a small prob with the wine but the waiter quickly gave us another bottle.I ll probably come back

One of the nicest things about France is discovering that rare little gem of a restaurant, the neighborhood place that has a genius of a chef, a passionate owner and a dedicated staff. When you find a restaurant like that you want to keep it for yourself, but I just can't be that cruel.Le Ballon Voyageur might well represent the best quality / price ratio of any restaurant I know in France. I've been there twice now, have tasted all I could and have been amazed and delighted with every dish. The owner's wine suggestions, and the ability to drink excellent wines by the glass mean that every dish is perfectly accompanied; the setting is unique and agreeable; the service is excellent. If you have the good fortune to be anywhere in the area of Maisons Laffitte make it a point to eat here... and remember to reserve as far in advance as you can: although it's only recently opened, the restaurant has already become a favorite and is often booked solid.Hello, thank you very much for your kind comments. Visited restaurant while visiting Paris on a family holiday. Service was brilliant. Complimentary bread, olive-oil and olives was great. Had set menu. Starters and sole was good. Steak was average. Great friendly service, just above average food. Suggested white wine was great.

Wonderful full on unpretentious bistro cuisine for the adults and great child friendly meals appropriately priced.For the former do try the wonderful lamb, the swordfish steaks , the tartare.Take the family...relax !

This Italian restaurant is really nice. Food is good, vine was also good (we had Valpolicella ripasso) and the very important part the staff was incredibly nice and accommodating, the service fast and efficient. So they have all to make your evening much better)

I did not know this restaurant before and it has been a nice surprise.Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, good choice of food and wine. Everybody was satisfied about the freshness and the taste of all dishes. Last but not least, the price was correct.I don't know when I will have the opportunity to come back, but I strongly recommend to try it.

I and several friends dined here with one of the group having visited before. The food was spectacular and well presented with the owner/maitre d being so attentive in every way. I felt like we were special guests and I'm sure every table felt the same way. I had the Aberdeen Angus fillet which was tender, tasty and would sit well on the table of any king or president. The wines were good with good advice from the owner on suitable wine for the meal. This restaurant is small but that adds to the ambiance and atmosphere. We felt like part of a family and that was important. Tables were talking to each other and there was much laughter. English was spoken by the Maitre D and the chef who spoke to us at the table. This impressed us a lot as he was clearly busy.I would say that this restaurant is worthy of Michelin star!

A small, cozy and friendly French restaurant in the middle of Colombes, one of the towns of the northwestern Parisian suburbs.Not so many people for a Thursday, so we got very good and quick service. Good choice of food and wines.If you happen to be close to Colombes downtown, this is a good choice !
