The Restaurant Moosrank is small and offers a great choice of very tasty food of all different kinds. Twice a year they offer special weeks. From may 10th until June 18th they were celebrating the Australian weeks. You can get many different specialties from Australia like kangaroo meat, ostrich, lamb, crocodile etc. From November 8th until December 24th they are going to celebrate their American weeks. During this period Wisi & Pia offer American specialties, especially meat.We ate some Australian dishes and the cooking was excellent. This little restaurant is really worth the price. By the way, also the decoration was just great. We felt back in Australia for a while.Also the rest of the year the offer is wonderful. I warmly recommend this great little restaurant.pore

Excellent food, friendly service and not excessively priced (for Switzerland).The tuna steak is a treat, although never had a bad item from the menu. They'll happily do a set menu for groups, and the quality of that is beyond reproach also.

I ate here whilst staying in the area on business.The welcome was friendly, and service efficient.The food I had was very tasty, the cordon bleu was pretty big, but tasted very nice.The beer on offer from the brewery was good, and I recommend trying the amber.The restaurant feels relaxed, and has a nice atmosphere. This is definitely a restaurant I'd happily return to.

We had luck here with a variety of dishes. All cooked very well, friendly service and food come quite quickly, saving us time for our business lunch.

This is a place that I have eaten several times and never had anything less than an excellent meal.Private room with very festive decoration.The food was all good, but a special mention to the Bisque dâHomard and the Tournedos Rossini. Meat is always good here, but this time it was particularly succulent and tender. Bravo!Great wines and friendly and efficient service.Highly recommend, as ever!

Im not sure whether this is a restaurant or the Glencore works restaurant. but its very good. At midday its heaving with works folk but of the evening its cuisine is except and really exceptional service.

Very good Italian restaurant with friendly atmosphere. The location is not great, but its worth making the effort. Visited this restaurant following other recommendations here. Iâd heard it was one of the best places in Baar. Not disappointed. Managed to get a table although even on a Tuesday the restaurant was busy so I suggest booking. Lovely service and brilliant food. Started with the Korean spicy fried chicken salad- one of the nicest starters I have ever had anywhere. Opted for the lamb shank in madeira sauce with rosemary potatoes as my main and this also was delicious. All washed down with local beer. Iâm only sorry I will not be back in the area any time soon.
