Na dagen met een groep op vele fronten actief geweest hebben wij hier gezamenlijk de periode afgesloten met een geweldige lunch. Een restaurant om zeker vaker te bezoeken.

Lang getwijfeld wat ik hier moest geven, toch voor 4 sterren gegaan. Dit tentje is leuk en er werken vriendelijke mensen (hoewel de man in de keuken mij soms iets te bazig richting eigen personeel was). Ik bestelde het broodje gerookte zalm (â¬7,95). Ik gaf hierbij aan allergisch te zijn voor ui, dus sowieso geen ui erop te willen. Dat was prima. Op het moment dat ik dan zoiets krijg, kijk ik uiteraard zowel aan het begin als tijdens het eten natuurlijk toch nog vaak of er niet per ongeluk ui op zit. Toen ik nu begon met eten zag ik niets zitten. Ook toen ik een paar happen verder was en regelmatig gekeken heb, zag ik niets. Echter toen ik het broodje voor 80% op had, zie ik op het laatste stuk ineens meerdere stukken ui. Gelijk aangegeven uiteraard. Uiteraard krijg ik gelijk verontschuldigingen, maar balen doe ik op dat moment wel, omdat ik er goed ziek van kan worden. Maar omdat ik toch meerdere keren gekeken heb tijdens het eten en zodoende het gevoel had nooit veel binnen te kunnen hebben gekregen hoopte ik dat mij dat lot bespaard bleef. En gelukkig was dat ook zo. Nergens last van gehad. Uiteraard was dit heel slordig van hun kant, maar het was netjes dat ze sowieso ook het broodje niet in rekening brachten. In combinatie met dat het erg lekker was en de vriendelijke service toch 4 sterren hier.

Whereas you can get beer in all the other restaurants in town, this is one of only two proper pubs that we found, the other being Cafe de Poort.Although you can sit inside and outside, we chose to sit at the bar in what is a very tidy and nicely designed pub. The beer was good, but I echo the comments of a previous reviewer that the service could be quicker. It was just a tad too laid back.

De Gouden Kruimel is situated in delightful Kerkplein. We sat outside in the sunshine and, from all the tasty treats on offer, had coffee with a wonderful apple tart. The coffee was served with a glass of water on the side and two complementary homemade Bonbons, and everything was delicious.Although our choice was called apple tart, it looked more like a cross between a pie and a cake; but whatever you choose to call it - it was delicious. By the way - we only had one piece of tart between us, and it was plenty.Service was also very nice.Highly recommended.

We attended a 3 day yoga retreat here and it was perfect. The hotel is on the beautiful estate. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. I loved the 200m pool and the sauna. The restaurant is also inviting and perfect for all meals, I enjoyed their lunches the most, especially the goat cheese salad. You can take long walks around the estate or go into the small town. It's perfect for couples, friend's weekend away or a family trip. Having a yoga retreat here was a great plus!Dear Nthabi,Thank you very much for your review on Tripadvisor! We took advantage of a "Dining with the Stars"offer at approx.50 Euros per person.The in-house restaurant De Wanne prepared a splendid 5 course dinner in no way different from the regular menu. To the contrary: if we take into account the appetizers we had a Michelin-starred 6 course dinner.The superb sommelier added a very nice wine selection and the Italian maître d'hotel added a good amount of humour.We visit this restaurant every year and always enjoy being there.

We had several meals here - the atmosphere is an upscale pub /cafe. The service was excellent and the prices moderate. You could easily buy a hearty soup or sandwich for 6 euros and a glass of wine was 4 euros and the portions are big enough that you don't need more. For lunch, my companion and I ordered one soup and it was enough for two of us, and we are not shy about eating.Even in winter, one can sit outside - there are about 8 of them outside - and people do, gathering at lunch or end of day to catch up with their neighbours. Wraps are provided if you feel cold. The menu is entirely in Dutch, so I startled and amused our company by pointing at another customer's dinner and said, I would like that one. It worked! The food was very good. The locals use this restaurant often, so it must be good.The washroom is impeccable and classy. That's a treat when one is travelling.

We just had coffee at the terrace but it made a very good impression on us. Maybe it was because of the good weather, maybe it was the nice staff or maybe the coffee or just the location but we had a very good stop during our cycling trip.

We visited this restaurant for lunch on a sunny afternoon in september. The location is on a little square making it nice to sit outside. We had tea with bread and "kroketten". The food was fine, only for the price we expected slightly fresher bread. All together a good place for lunch.
