I wanted to show some friends out of town a distillery tour that was something I enjoyed (cocktails and spirits), and so, to do that and support local business, Bully Boy was fun, more intimate, and we got to try some delicious product.

I have enjoyed many Little in large craft or serious beer and distillery tours. This one in our beautiful Boston takes the cake. We were fortunate to just happen to have the owner leading our tour on that Saturday afternoon. So many things stood out during this experience. One was the background are the owners a Boston Harbor distillery. It started with one of our first craft brewers and then worked and learned with the best Scottish whiskey makers on our planet. What stood out to me was the quality ingredients they use any American made manufacturing pieces to make their beautiful beverages. I say beverage plural because although they absolutely are a whiskey and rye house what they making around the fringes in the beverage portfolio are absolute standouts. And should not be missed. I'm bringing friends back multiple times not only for the quality the hyper local ownership but also for the deep deep history they shared during the tour and the beautiful building historic building that sits on a wonderful Harbor. I had been invited to a private party here for a friends birthday a few years back. It turned out excellent. We took the tour with Peter, the owner, who informed us of the process of distilling the vodkas as well as upcoming flavors that were being added to the list. Some excellent products including the amazing Maple Vodka which is more like a liqueur. Worth the time for the tour, and especially for the samples!

Cisco Brewers

Who are we? We are just about the coolest place on planet Earth. Having never personally traveled to other parts of the galaxy, we can't quite say "in all the Milky Way" but we're pretty confident that we would make the top 10. Here on Nantucket we have a Winery, Brewery, and Distillery. Nantucket Vineyard was the first arm of our business opening in the early 1980's as a small project of the Long Family. After a few years, Winery employees ended up falling in love with the wine and each other, and voila! - Cisco Brewers was born on the Hudson's stovetop in 1995. Whispers of a brewery floated on the Nantucket wind, catching the ear of a few people, including a Mr. Harman. Using the previously tested and proven formula of starting a business from another business, Winery and Brewery employees enjoyed a few glasses / pints (respectively) together and hatched the idea for Triple Eight Distillery in 2000. All three businesses are constantly evolving, and we now produce a wide variety of world-class wines, beers, and spirits. Come out and enjoy our Nantucket haven- just prepare yourself in case your mind blows up from all the awesomeness. Open everyday year-round, dog and kid friendly!

It is hard to believe that places like this exist, we arrived on a Tuesday afternoon and the place was rocking! Great live music, a variety of bars -wine, beer and mixed drinks await. I had the frose, delicious and potent! They have food carts/trucks and sell merchandise too. Bring your kids, your dogs, whatever you like, everyone is welcome. I LOVED this place.
