Astounding natural wonders, invigorating outdoor recreation and fascinating cultural attractions make Flagstaff the perfect getaway to rejuvenate the body and replenish the mind. Set at the base of the beautiful San Francisco Peaks, and surrounded by lush national forests, the city provides ample opportunity for fresh air fun. Spring, summer and fall bring hikers, campers and mountain bikers, while winter draws skiers and ice skaters. But don't let a focus on the "good old outdoors" fool you. Fostered by the local university, Flagstaff is also chock-full of educational and cultural attractions. Be sure to see the award-winning permanent exhibit "Native Peoples of the Colorado Plateau" at the Museum of Northern Arizona. The Pioneer Museum offers a glimpse of what life was like for the early settlers of the region and includes a 1929 Baldwin locomotive in its collection. The city also has an arboretum and a planetarium. The entire area is a living anthropology and geology lesson, with ancient Native American ruins and stunning scenery at the Wupatki and Walnut Canyon National Monuments, just waiting to be explored.

We took one of the best tours we have ever taken. Out tour to walpi, a pueblo built around 1100 AD was information, fun and downright wonderful. Our Hopi guide was a native that still lives in the Pueblo. Here was well informed, eloquent and well spoken. It was an opportunity I have looked forward to for many years. If you are at all interested in ancient cultures and the history of the Southwest don't miss this.

Cameron form the onset was (even on the phone) enthusiastic and engaging. It was so infectious it didn't take long to decide to go with him. Not one regret with our decision. We were thoroughly impressed with his apparent love of the area that then was complimented by his extensive knowledge. Cameron did an excellent job in answering all our questions and queries. If we were to rate him with stars he would be a galaxy ------ truly, truly , a great experience

We had an amazing time on our private Grand Canyon tour. Chris was very accommodating of us. We started at 7:45 AM in Sedona and had a beautiful drive out to the Grand Canyon filled with great conversation & many interesting facts from Chris about the region. The van was clean, comfortable and spacious. The Grand Canyon tour was fantastic, we would not have seen as much had we driven there on our own. Chris optimized our time so that we had as much time as possible at the Canyon. Also the lunch was incredible, he somehow managed to get us a reservation at the El Tovar Dining Room! From start to finish a fantastic day that I would recommend to anyone looking to see the Grand Canyon.

My wife and I visited Joshua Tree with ECA, and we’re so glad that we did. While it’s a premium product, they really go above and beyond to deliver. Prior to the trip, we made a custom itinerary and did a pre-trip prep session with Ryan over Zoom that left us feeling fully prepared for the trip. When the day came, all we needed were the proper clothes and shoes, and ECA took care of the rest. First, when we were customizing our trip, Ryan let us know about the Borrego Springs sculpture gardens and we were able to start there. Absolutely wild to see these metallic monsters in the middle of the desert. We left Borrego Springs in the late morning and headed for an afternoon in Joshua Tree. Even across half a day, we explored the giant boulders, hiked among some incredibly unique plant life, saw the Joshua Trees and baby cactus garden, and took in a sunset at a desert oasis that you couldn’t imagine even existed. It’s amazing that the California desert could be so diverse, and that we could see so much of it in such a short time. While the day itself was amazing, what really sets Elite Custom Adventures apart is the photography. In less than a week we received over 50 digital photos from our experience, many using unique photography techniques, and these simply couldn’t be duplicated on an iPhone. We are so happy that we’ll have these memories forever, not just in our mind, but on our computer backgrounds, hanging on our walls throughout the house and on holiday cards to come!

This day tour gives you the chance to venture north from the Phoenix area to see several historical sites that visitors come from around the world to see. This allows you to experience several very old locations that are so important in the history of Arizona. Luckily they have been preserved so visitors can still enjoy them as they have for hundreds of years. This makes a great day tour when the temperatures are rising in the Phoenix area as we climb to the cooler higher altitudes of the state. - Wupatki National Monument - Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument - Third Stop Options: - Museum of Northern Arizona or - Riordan Mansion State Historical Park or - Lowell Observatory - The Home of Pluto - Lunch included

Inclusions: Being in Arizona we always carry water for our clients.
