It was a good full-day tour overall. If you are in Madrid, this a great sightseeing option to visit both Avila and Segovia. Both cities are really beautiful. It’s worth it! Unfortunately, our group was big, and we were rushed all the time. That's was a shame because there is a lot to explore in those two cities.

We will begin our journey during Spain's glorious days in the “La Granja” Gardens complex, which is also called the "Spanish Versailles Gardens" including dozens of ornamental pools, fountains and greenery brought to the palace from all over the world. The second part of the tour will take place in the Ancient City of Segovia where we will find one of the world's largest aqueducts. From there we will continue to the main market square, the last Gothic Cathedral built in Spain and the old Jewish quarter. During the tour we will stop for a wine tasting and get to eat the local dessert that is particularly famous for being one of Spain's Queens favorite. From there we will continue to the highlight of the city, the Royal Palace- the Alcazar

At first we thought that this seemed a bit expensive, but as it was a special occasion we decided to go all out, and I'm so glad that we did - it was definitely worth every penny. Giuseppe was our guide and he absolutely made the day for us. On the way in he talked about the the types of wines we were going to taste and their history and we all learned a lot that we didn't know before. The first place we visited was a family run winery which was very friendly and offered a personable tasting of their excellent wines with cheese. The second was much a much grander affair and again we learned a lot as we explored with a glass in hand. The lunch itself was absolutely delicious with enough options to please everybody, and you can pick a bottle to enjoy with it - which was a really nice touch. Originally I thought two wineries wouldn't be enough, but it was absolutely perfect. We tried so many lovely wines, with the help of recommendations from Giuseppe. It was the perfect mix between educational and really good fun. I'll definitely be going again (and requesting Giuseppe as my guide when I do so!)

We did the Toledo-Segovia day tour and it was fantastic! Our guide Alfonso was so knowledgeable, professional, and friendly, he truly made the experience unforgettable. The bus was great, the schedule ran on-time throughout the day, and we were able to see all the best sites in the two cities while learning about their history. I would 100% book another tour with Amigo Tours in the future and would recommend this company to everyone!

I was only in Madird for a few days and this tour highlighted all the main attractions and points of interest in Madrid. Amazing value at Euro14 for a 2 hour tour, even though around 20 minutes is spent stuck in traffic, I suspect it would be the same on most days traving around a major european city. There is a recorded audio and also a tour guide on the bus that speaks good english. Our tour guide was Diana who was very knowledgeable and caring towards my children. I would say its an exellent way to experience Madrid.

This is the second best museum to visit for your bucket list after you have seen the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul Turkey. You should definitely see the War Mural by Picasso on the second floor. Be prepared for security check entrance. There is a discount for seniors.
