After dining on crappy Cuban cuisine for weeks on end, we decided to eat here after reading about it in the Lonely Planet guide, and were treated to a delicious meal of schnitzel and real roast potatoes (which are a rarity in the whole of Cuba). One slight mishap was that two of our schnitzels were a little burned, and after we sent them back my mum's replacement schnitzel was too salty. At first we sat outside but had to come indoors because of all the bugs. Inside is airconditioned, which is okay but it can get a bit cool. Overall though the food here was such a welcome change to the ordinary Cuban offerings, and a good place to get a substantial meal.

We were recommended by some locals to El Patio. It is a large restaurant with an open central patio with strolling musicians. We were given a small air conditioned room at our request, otherwise it's just fans. The server was very friendly and attentive. As usual in Cuba, there were several items they did not have, but the selection is good and nicely presented. We both had the Chicken with beans and rice (congri). The congri was nicely spiced and the best I have ever had. The chicken was not overcooked and the plate was beautifully presented with some vegetable garnishes. The prices were so low we had to check them twice. Dinner and two drinks each for both of us totaled $20. We would go back again.

This restaurant was recommended by our casa owner. It is conveniently located on Maceo. There were no other tourists there. It's the kind of place that a local family might go to celebrate a special occasion. It's got some atmosphere. The food is pretty good. It's incredibly cheap. If you want a place with a local vibe, friendly service, decent food, and great value...give this place a try.

The place looks clean and beautiful, amazing staff very friendly and professional. The food and drinks was fantastic, restaurant super nice to visit with friends,family or husband in a couple night. this is one of the best restaurants in Camaguey, very friendly atmosphere and the cervices is amazing, all member of the stuff are supper, food to die for, we just have the pleasure to booked this great place to celebrate our grannies 80th birthday party and we could not be more happy , our granny had a super wonderful time . we cant way for our next trip to Camaguey to have lunch at Casona Miralles!! We had a nice dinner here. The food was okay although the server pushed the vegetables on us and didn't tell us how much the cost would be which was almost as much as the entree.

Though the offerings were typical of what we had so far on the trip, the food was better prepared and had more flavor than other restaurants. A nice little parfait as dessert had us all wanting more. Bruschetta, pizza and pasta. They try to stay true to Italy using available ingredients. Although they come close for Cuban standards, itâs a little disappointing. The bruschetta wasnât crunchy (but the tomatoes were delicious) and the pizza a bit stale. Still, a great place to go if youâve had enough of ropa viejo.
