Nice but personnel
Reviewed By Theodor SMixed feelings. The location is superb and the premises are clean, well designed and cozy. The staff did its best to spoil the impression. My passport was damaged at the first moment of my stay (they intended to take a copy of the document and tore the main page). There were multiple attempts to enter my room without knocking at the door (I was inside) and without proper explanation. The personnel hardly spoke any language but Russian. I never received any compensation or excuse until the last day of my stay. Consider it when choosing Kaleydoskop.

The bright, spacious, comfortable apartments have everything you need for your stay: shower, toilet, washing machine, hair dryer, mini-kitchen with all the amenities (refrigerator, toaster ,, kettle, dishes), wi-fi. We are in 200 meters of Nevsky Prospect, metro stations (Mayakovskaya / Area Rebellion / Vladimirskaya / Dostoevskaya). Will not be bored, among the large number of restaurants, bars, cafes, cinemas, entertainment centers, shops with a variety of brands you can find everything you want, for every taste. One of the nicest factors, location of the Nevsky Prospekt just three minutes walk away. Many attractions, parks, monuments, rivers and canals, the famous drawbridges permanently leave in your heart pleasant memories !!
Brilliant stay
Reviewed By _nessmarksI was a bit worried about booking this hotel as it was very cheap compared to the other hotels on offer. Worked out to about 50 euro a night for 2 kids and 2 adults. But it was perfect! Great location, close to all the restaurants, bars and sights. The only downside was our room was very hot (but it was my own fault for not raising it with management). And a bit noisy, as it is on a busy street. But its spotlessly clean, lovely design of the rooms and friendly staff. So no complaints from me!

Reviewed By Den-solo2014I was visiting friends in this interesting part of the North Caucasus. I stayed in a top floor apartment and it was a generous size, clean, with free WiFi. The kitchen has a fridge and utensils, crockery, pans, kettle, hot plate etc., The TV can be adjusted to face either the bed or the lounge area. Mostly channels in Russian, but I saw some programs where I could follow the plot without understanding the dialogue. Better to access the property from the steps at the rear (when walking!) There is a separate restaurant at the back of the property if you wish to eat out without going too far. Don't expect an English menu though. Although the property has a lift, I suspect that anyone with a wheelchair would struggle, there are uneven steps everywhere and many paths do not have a good surface. I think I will come back and stay here again.

Shocker - very dirty and poor
Reviewed By TraveleatorLocation: Arbatskaya district; on New Arbat Av (they have multiple buildings) Hotel: They have apartments in 3-4 apartment towers along New Arbat Av Room: we had a studio with kitchenette, table, sofa and a double bed Positives: reasonably convenient location, very helpful staff (all the ladies were nice) Negatives: horrible condition, very old room, dirty utensils, dusty house Ranking at time of writing: #3 of 2008 specialty lodging in Moscow On paper the Moscow Suites Serviced apartment fit our requirements perfectly, it was well rated on TA, was within the locality we wanted, had a stovetop and a washing machine, helped us with the visa invitation letter and the girls were very helpful on email and otherwise. But that's where all the good part ended for us. The room was like it's shown in the photos but significantly worse for wear. The room hadn't been cleaned; the furniture was of poor wood quality and broken, the wardrobe was broken, the TV console table was in dire need of replacement, the kitchen utensils were outright dirty/unusable without a wash, the bathroom had previous guests used products. It was just a shocker! They have 3 buildings and multiple apartments, ours was in 22 New Arbat Av (and I think apartment # 109 G or H) and I will strongly advice against taking this apartment up. If you do decide on taking an apartment through them, pls check for previous reviews before deciding and make sure that the team agrees to give you the exact apartment that you've requested else you may be setting yourself up for disappointment. While our apartment was very disappointing the location was good; 20-30 min walk to Kremlin (or a short bus ride); a quick bus ride to St. Basil's and Red Square; old Arbat avenue is a nice place to chill in the evening and New Arbat has tons to eat and shop for groceries etc. Lastly, the ladies, Liza and Virginia were very helpful and I wouldn't fault them at all. PS: they can help you get a letter for your entire stay in Russia so just check with them instead of getting one from all your hotels.

It’s tucked down a little side street so despite it being in the heart of the city it’s quiet. Service was good. We arrived in the evening and were welcomed by a very charming and helpful member of staff The apartment itself has modern furniture and accessories, flat screen, washing machine etc. It really has everything you will need plus much more including towels, hairdryer and air conditioning. The kitchen was fully fitted and very clear. We stayed for 5 nights and we had an absolutely awesome stay. Recommended for families.

Good hotel no more no less
Reviewed By Alex_leonovStayed here for the second time for 7 nights . Good hotel grounds . Rooms spacious , washing machine inside , kitchen , couch , tv ( worked poorly) , minimum of furniture . This is 3 star no more and no less ( if you re not picky) . Of course there were many downsides like the gym is extra charge , parking on site is extra , room service once per two/three days , problem with garbage and so on . But this hotel has a great location , 10 min from airport , one hour to the mountains , and 20 min walk to beach and olympic grounds . Good rates for the rooms !

Worn out and overbooked
Reviewed By Alex_leonovNot a good apart hotel to stay in . Although the complex is very very large and consists of several complexes , it has major issues . One of em being the check in process . It located in a middle complex , has big cues for check in and check out . Buildings have severe moisture , fungus damage. Rooms are very humbly decorated and are worm out , we have changed rooms but same problem .they are in a terrible state . There are management issues , if you call to be picked up or any other issues you might have the bell boy or management are hardly available . Prices are sky high during skiing season . Apart from a proximity to the ski lifts , this complex is to be avoided . Although not the worst stay but far far from a good one .
