Our beautiful building, in the 30s, today is cultural heritage of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Fully renovated through a retrofit, it has 14 modern flats, 8 of 32 m2, 2 of 45 m2, one of 56m2 and the other three of 60 m2, with cable TV, WIFI, Air Conditioning Split, queen or King size bed, washing machine and fully equipped kitchen.

Reviewed By nickamc80We stayed at the Sugar Loft Apartments in Santa Teresa for 5 nights. Amelia was absolutely wonderful. Our apartment had gorgeous views looking towards Sugar Loaf, the cable cars along with the neighborhoods. Bed was extremely comfortable, Air Conditioning was cold, plenty of room for 2 adults in our place. Outside on Friday night the restaurant/bar has outdoor seating while listening to local music and of course people watching. Other restaurants nearby- this is a great neighborhood. We felt very safe all times. The Santa Teresa yellow trolley is just a short walk down the street. The park ruins are up the hill and definitely worth a visit for more stunning views of Rio. Uber is plenty and cheap. Thank you Amelia- we will be back!

Adriana, the owner, will immediately put you at ease, without much effort, to be honest. The place is beautiful, from all rooms and common areas you can enjoy a wonderful view of the city and the bay. Small pool with outdoor area very well maintained and enjoyable. Sumptuous breakfast, served in a veranda that allows you to open your eyes with confidence on the day. Reachable by the traditional streetcar that serves this neighborhood, is within walking distance of historic local scene carioca. The costs are commensurate with the quality of the offer. If you don't go there, you give up a wonderful experience....

Reviewed By beachb569We stayed for a week in room 002 on the ground floor. The location is excellent walking distance to most places right next to Lagoa and about 5 minutes walk to Ipanema front. A clean safe, family friendly area. Very close to shops and restaurants However the room is very small, the kitchen very basic with two hobs & a microwave with little cutlery. There is a code access from 8 am on arrival although you can't get into your room until 2. There are no staff available apart from two hardworking housekeepers and all requests have to go through whatsapp (in Rio a lot of things work through WhatsApp anyway) so if you don't have roaming or a phone it's going to be problematic. Rather noisy with other guests constantly leaving the inner door ajar and setting off the alarm. There's no lift if your on the upper floor.Towels are worn out. Overall basic.

Optamos pelo Country Residence Service após pesquisa em um site de hospedagem internacional. Como os preços dos hotéis no Rio de Janeiro tem um padrão de turismo internacional, optamos por uma hospedagem através da locação por esse site bastante conhecido. - A hospedagem: o prédio do Country Residence Service é uma mistura de flat para moradores fixos e apartamentos para locação por curtos períodos. É um edifício com 18 andares, muito conservado e a uma quadra da Praia de Ipanema. Pertinho mesmo. Tem academia e piscina. O restaurante e o bar não funcionam mais. Fechados. O pessoal da recepção e os seguranças são muito educados e solícitos. O trecho da Rua Prudente de Morais em que se localiza o flat é muito tranquilo e seguro para os padrões da Cidade do Rio de Janeiro. - O apartamento: ocupamos o apartamento 306. Vista para a piscina e jardins internos. Da varanda do quarto de casal se vê, ao longe, a estátua do Cristo Redentor. Sala de estar e jantar, cozinha totalmente equipada com utensílios e eletrodomésticos. Dois quartos, dois banheiros. Tudo espaçoso. Roupa de cama limpa e toalhas limpas. - Faça uma compra no supermercado pertinho do flat (água, suco, cerveja o que preferir - papel higiênico extra). - Ótimo preço para estadia 4 estrelas. Voltaremos.

Reviewed By Mark MNot a super deluxe set up but definitely a super deluxe view. Cesar at front desk super nice. Great beach....great location in Recreio. Good Security. Beautiful pool. Recreio is a delight away from Ipanema but close to Priana Beach. Area is growing good restaurants short cab ride away. The oceanfront view is a 10. Surf breaks right out front beach door.

Bedrooms with double or twin beds, air conditioning, cable TV, telephone and reading lamps. Living room with sofa bed, marble dining table, internet wired, kitchenette equipped with stove, fridge and utensils. Balcony with partial ocean view or back view. Deluxe apartments are at top floor, they present even more space and a terrace.

Reviewed By Sam HI stayed in this hotel for three weeks for work. The staff are amazing, the beach nearby is great, the location though is noisy and can get boring once you've seen everything around. Wouldn't recommend more than 3 days here.

You can find many places to go at night by walking in the safest, friendly and most prestigious neighborhood in Rio. Brazilians love Leblon, you will discover why.

Reviewed By DutchCariocaWhen in Rome, ... The same applies for Rio. If you want the daily experience of someone that lives in Leblon, then this apartment is an excellent choice. Mind you, we lived 7 years 1 block from here, so we can tell. The Leblon experience is doing everything walking and stay mostly in Leblon, sometimes walk to Ipanema. For us it felt like homecoming after 2 years. The apartment is decorated as if somebody is living there constantly. So it has all the features, comfort, luxury and coziness. The living room is great. One master bedroom with queen-size bed and one bedroom with a single bed and one rolling bed underneath. Two separated bathrooms in the corridor. The location is in the middle of Leblon, 3 blocks, 500m from the Leblon / Ipanema beach, almost at the end of the third block from the beach on Rua Cupertino Durao, almost at the corner with Rua Humberto de Campos. This places it 200m from the very big 24/7 supermarket Pao de Acucar and next to that the restaurant and bar hub at Rua Conde de Bernadotte. There you will find wildly popular Academia de Cachaca, highly recommended for its ice cold 'chope' draught beer and Artartica Original big bottled beer, Brazilian pub food, and of course a selection of more than 400 cachacas. Other nearby recommendations are: Sushi Carioca, Bibi Sucos / Big Polis / Balada Mix, Bar Bracarense, and upscale meat restaurant Giuseppe Grill, Sushi Leblon, and Zuka. But so many other good options to find.

Reviewed By Daniel_FelbergExcelente local. Muito limpo. Em uma área agradável com pista de cooper, parquinho para crianças, quadras de tenis, quadra de volei e com ótima sensação de segurança. Piscina e academia também disponiveis, mas não pude experimentar. Recomendo bastante o local.
