Renowned for its modernist lines and futuristic design, Brasilia is a study in urban planning and the only city built in the 20th century to be counted among UNESCO's World Heritage Sites. Where only five years before its inception there was desert, now there are innovative buildings and imaginative monuments, ranging from the hyperboloid Cathedral of Brasilia to the lunar-esque Complexo Cultural da Republica to the glass-box Palacio da Alvorada.

The hotel is well located. The price was quite good, however, it needs an urgent maintenance. Very simple room, but everything looks that need some repair. Old towels. Very simple breakfast, with the basics for Brazilian style hotel with some fruits, bread, and juices. For one day stay... it was enough.

Clean, but amazingly small bathroom. If you are a big person, you might have difficulties getting into the shower or on the toilet. Room is nice, with one remote for lights, tv etc. Lot of channels. 10-15 minutes from the airport. Good service from the staff. Breakfast has a lot of choices. Stayed there satursay night and there was a party nearby. Did not sleep well due to this. There is a swimming pool, but looks small and not so cosy. Would stay only for business, not holidays. Paid around 80€ for a night. Wifi works well.

Hotels in Brasilia can be very expensive, but this place is a good option with good location for business travelers. You need to have in mind that it's an apart hotel, so isn't perfect, but for quickly staying it's good enough.

When arriving to the room we found a really loud noice. Sounded like it was something wrong with the ventilation. Loud low pitch sound with a ring. Maybe like sleeping inside a refrigerator. We went down to get a different room, but they asked if they should send a someone to look at it. We said ok. A repairman came, checked the room. Said it was the aircon nextdoor that made the room sound like it was a refrigerator. And that we could get a new room. He would get back to us. We waited for a long time, then called. They replied, it was not possible to get a new room anyways. The bathroom was not clean, mold in the shower, broken hose for the bide. Dirty used paper next to the bed. Spots on the sheets. Showerhead broken. Lamp full of flies. And when the service is bad on top of that... not good... Well not all is bad, your card gives you access to the elevator, but only your floor. Good for safety. Lots of hangers for your clothes. Micro, free internet. Tv, Warm water in the shower ( takes some time, so turn it on 5 minutes before you intend to use it). Aircon is working! Good! We had a balcony, and a good view. But all in all... I will not come back here, that's for sure. Even if I was lucky and had brought sound blockers...

Recomendo!

The rooms of Sateltour are situated in another Hotel. They are private rooms, unfortunately not operated by the hotel but by Sateltour. The rooms are spacy but the furniture is old and not well maintained, which caused me to change rooms 3 times after I complained several times about missing items, fungus and broken microwave oven. It even occurred that my room was not cleaned for 3 days in a row, because there were no bed linnen and towels available. The bed was causing back pain and the airco cannot be controlled. All rooms were very noisy for the windows do not close properly. The only good thing was the shower.
