Sharing Traditions Cooking Class and Market Tour starts at 9:30 in Merida Santiago hotel boutique. Under enjoyment of coffee or tea, you will decide, together with the chef, what you are going to prepare for lunch. Some of the dishes are very unique to the Yucatan region and difficult to find outside of the peninsula, while others are eaten throughout Mexico. The Yucatecan and Mexican cuisine include an huge amount of delicious dishes. The influence of ancient Mayas and many aspects of daily life in Yucatan, is especially noted in the cuisine.
