We went there 1st January for dinner. Restaurant was quite empty and a security welcomed us pointing the way where to leave our coats. When returning there was no welcome at the entrance so we stepped in and suddenly a waitress came asking whether we had reserved. Upon our answer "No", we got a table for the three of us. We ordered our drinks and food and had to wait for some 15 minutes until two of us got their starters. When the two had finished, the third one got his starter, which were pelmeni in broth. The broth did not taste at all and pelmeni were just ok. The other two starters - pancake with red caviar and salat with red caviar - were good. When the main course arrived, the waitress noticed that she ordered a different fish dish than I asked for. I agreed to take it but the fish was deadly pan fried. I ordered a pizza, because I was hungry and that one was ok, but nothing really to go for again.All in all we expected more and were disappointed.

I spent here a couple of evenings with old friends. The food was great, the atmosphere was nice, the service was good, if a little slow.The prices are reasonable.You can choose from the European/international and Japanese menus.I tried a rabbit leg (great!), a Sterling steak (medium rare, but they made it almost well done, so if you prefer rare meat, don't ask for medium done or well done here), a chocolate fondant (excellent!), veal salad (very good!).

Asking my friends about the most popular restaurant in town they mentioned the one we went tonight. "What have I done to deserve this..." (taken from the song) But really. If this is one of the most popular restaurants here in Togliatti....just let me go home!We had shrimps as a starter served with some kind of with rose coloured sauce which was just sweet, the spaghetti Bolognese were served with Fettuccine noodles. The steaks ordered medium were served "well done". Just before we had finished our main course the waiter came and asked whether we would like to have a fruit pie as dessert. Can you imagine eating a steak and the waiter asks you about dessert already?! The espresso we ordered was like an american caffe and the grappa was served in a shot glass. And then you look at the shoes of the waiters and waitresses..some in pink, the others in white, some with white socks...

I was in this restaturant several times. Here you can find russian and international cooking, eating besides a great pool with piranhas!! Good food, I do not suggest drinking wine, expensive and low quality. Better drink bier or vodka! After 11, the restaturant turns in a discoteque.

Great Uzbekistan food, in a nice Oriental styled place. Food was all cooked at the moment. In fact we had the waiter even advising about the length of waiting time for some of the most time consuming dishes.Great selection of wines too, and prices are very honest.Highly recommended, and although reservation in Russia doesn't seem to be an issue, I'd recommend you to get one, especially for a special date.Andrea M, thank you for choosing our restaurant, we are always glad to meet new people in lounge-cafe "Хлопок"!

If feel like visiting a place that would remind you of Europe go here.The restaurant is created by the owner with love and attention to detail.Don't be scared away by the fact that it is located in the old (not so nice) district of the towm.Once inside you'll forget about it.The food is quite pricey but very good. The menu is really decent. If you are into raw meet try beef or venison tartar, Non-smoking place. But they have a well-equipped smoking room.There is also a confectionary on the site.The only drawback is that the service can be slow sometimes.

First of all its not easy to find right way to the right room with the restaurant... All of us have lost ;)The restaurant tries to offer czech food, but it is food "like in czech" ... The cook is definitly not czech one.Next, they offer own tapped beer - not czech one - and gambrinus - czech one but not very good.What i like very much - huge beer garden. But it already cold for it in September.

8th Mile is on the road from Tolyatti to Samara and the airport, so quit convenient location. Our table was in a log cabin, where we have a private room. For summer time they also have tables outside. The menu is very extensive, lots of choices. The food was nice, and service was excellent.Biggest drawback for us was the fact that they have a small zoo, where some animals including a bear are kept in absolutely depressing conditions, extremely small cages, with no attention at all for animal wellfare. Unfortunately, there are more places in Tolyatti which also have such a horrible zoo. The locals seem to love it.
