We visited Harder Kulm and got lucky that it was nice weather at the top as the weather in Interlaken was rather cloudy and rainy. When we arrived, the sun was just coming out so we just ordered some warm beverages and some fresh orange juice. The fresh juice was outstanding and tasty and the hot chocolate warmed us right up. After that we wandered around the area taking in the fantastic views of Lauterbrunnen Valley and Interlaken. Since we had beverages when we arrived, we decided to enjoy a good lunch at the restaurant. We were able to get a good outside table that had awesome views to make our lunch all the more enjoyable. Out lunch was very delicious and again the service was exemplary. The next time we are in Interlaken and it is on the weekend, we would love to go have a great brunch here. Harder Kulm is a must visit as well as the restaurant. Great food, views, drinks....great everything!

Went up there based on the reviews I have read however I was disappointed. The views up there were breathtaking but the food wasn't so good. Got the cheese fondue and that was ok. Definitely have tried better ones. The garlic cream soup and Barry ice cream were good. Service could be better and more friendly.

Stopped by the patio for a drink one afternoon then deciding to return for dinner the next night, a group of five of us chose Ox for a celebratory dinner. The food was spectacular - orders ranged from creamed corn soup, oxtail soup, T-bone steak, beef tenderloin, lamb chops, and pferdefilet....everyone thoroughly enjoyed every course and selection from the menu. The wait staff was extremely helpful and accommodating for my wife, myself, 3 month old son and three friends even as they pushed closer to closing time. All in all, a wonderful visit.

We had to reserve in advance...as on the previous night we found that it was overbooked. Their menu showed authentic Swiss dishes; and we found vegetarian options. So we definitely wanted to dine here. Tanya kept a place for us. We tried the Fondue and Rosti....absolute delight! Service was reasonably good. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We had dinner twice here while staying at the nearby Brienzersee Hotel. You sit on the edge of the lake or inside if the weather is bad, with a full view of Brienzersee Lake.The most amazing dish was the whitefish with almond flakes. It's apparently a fish that is caught in the lake and it is baked? to perfection with lightly browned almonds and a gentle butter mix (not sure what was in it) and it was one of the best fish dishes I have ever had. The simple "mixed salad" was also excellent. This was one of the best meals we had in Switzerland and given the lakeside location and the qualify of food it was reasonably priced.

Our party really enjoyed our dinner here. We sat at an outdoor table overlooking an old square on a pleasant evening.The menu has typical Swiss German dishes, but they are prepared with a flair or refinement, call it what you will, but definitely a cut well above the average. Service was very good.The beer and wine selection is also good.We would certainly eat here again when in Interlaken.Dear Stephen, Thanks a lot for your nice words and great review. The La Gare fish restaurant situated at the end of Lake Brienz has the benefits of a wonderful aspect and superb food.For main course we enjoyed butter friedfillets of fera with basil sauce, grilled tomato and oven baked mediteranean potatoes.It was delicious. We were with a large group, but the service was prompt and the servers were very pleasant. We had a person with special dietary requests and the staff worked to accommodate her needs without any hesitation. The food is good with nice variety. Is on a side street and could be easily overlooked, so look for an anchor sign hanging outside. Inside decor is eclectic and a little different, but you are not there for art. Can recommend this place for a good meal that comes with good service.

We stayed in a his hotel and a had a fantastic meal in the intimate dining room next to bar. Menu now presented differently to photos here but content same, and seems to have changed name. As noted by others butter with bread ya excellent. Local pickled fish starter was fresh and tasty. Steak and fish mains had us full and happy with no space for desert. Highly recommended.
