Our first visit was 2 years ago, since then we kept in touch with Sabina and Georg on Facebook so when we were flying home from Indonesia we decided to stop by! Sabina did not disappoint. The flammkuchen was absolutely delicious and the selection of wines is superb! Sabina and Georg are fabulous host and Weinliebe's atmosphere is charming and comfortable. Located on Offenbach's Wilhelmplatz, the Markthaus is just one of many dining options around that square. Competition is stiff - but in this town seems to produce a cluster of excellent restaurants.The Markthaus can probably best be characterised as specialising in regional dishes from the region of Hesse, and they do it well. Three generations of a family fed and happy, with the one caveat that the Markthaus may want to try a little harder to offer vegetarians a few interesting dinner options, too.

I do love this place regardless if summer or winter. The food is well priced and in fact very nice.....you can even get some typical dishes from the region such as âGrüne Sauceâ or âKasslerâ. I came to this restaurant by personal recommendation. Otherwise I wouldnât have looked for a restaurant in Offenbach while in Frankfurt. Having seen the rating, my expectations were high. However, they were surpassed. The food was brilliant, a traditional substantial core with an exotic surprising touch. Excellent wines for reasonable prices. Service maybe a bit slow, but thatâs easily forgiven in such a friendly atmosphere in the lovely garden which of course was filled to capacity this warm summer evening.

We came here tonight without a reservation and very much enjoyed our stay. The place is very nicely designed and even offered live music.Our waiter was amazing, he came back so many times to check on us, he knew our entire drink order which we placed with his colleague and he really made our evening.Food was very good and we enjoyed the local appetizers (Tapas from Hesse), the steak and salads.I would definitely be back.

restaurant and coffeehouse in an old mill nearby the river "Nidda". Cross-over food, international breakfast, lunch, fresh cakes and italian coffee specialities. Beautiful summer terrace. Theater and cinema are located in the same house.

We had to sit outside as the inside was booked for a private party but it was a warm evening so it was pleasant enough. Had a very pleasant meal - the steak was delicious - and the food that my colleagues chose looked good too.

Nice venue in an old wagon wheel-making building. Pleasant decor and good service. We were a group and so had an assortment of traditional schnitzels, salads, veal dishes, fleisch salad and fried potatoes with green sauce. All good and good value for the quality.

I really enjoyed my experience recently at this Cafe. The opportunity to sit outdoors was great as well. The food was served very quickly and the service was fast. I could see it was a popular place as well in Maintal.
